On my first trip to the Alderney Landing market, I was delighted to find this unassuming table with no signage at all. I loved chatting with the owner, who took the time to tell me about their philosophy of baking with good(local, when possible) ingredients. The baked goods look outstanding. They make Kouign Amman, which I’ve not found elsewhere in HRM. The croissant I bought was pretty much perfect, and the best I’ve found in HRM. Light, crispy, and not much bigger than my hand(in contrast to the doughy monstrosities that are all the rage these days).
