Metro Tailors

First off: how weird is it that Unilocal doesn’t have a «tailors» category? Pretty weird, right?
Okay, so I’ve been to Metro Tailors a few times to get some odds and ends done. Usually just minor things. Most recently I got the zipper replaced on a winter jacket that has been sitting in my closet for years. Now, admittedly, I didn’t ask how much it would cost but in my mind, I ball parked it to be about $ 20 (based on absolutely nothing other than how I much wanted to pay). It turned out to be $ 30 but, hey, I essentially got another jacket out of the deal.
Still, I wish the price had been offered when I dropped it off in advance. The work is great, though. The turnaround time was also fairly quick. Their hours aren’t posted which isn’t very helpful.
Still, if you need some work done, I’d recommend them. I’ll probably go again.
