Tired Ronnie’s twice now and it wasn’t bad. Not amazing, but not bad. The donairs are HUGE. The meat is delicious and the sauce is great. The pitas were grilled but quite crispy — a little too crispy for my taste. They were pretty good and the value for price is great. We also tried the pizza. Now, maybe they used to have great two-for-one deals or something but I didn’t see any. The deals are pretty much what you’d see anywhere else. Kind of disappointing with two-for-one in the name but oh well! We ended up getting slices, which were pretty big and tasted pretty good. They were a little pricier than other places, so I think we’ll grab our slices elsewhere next time, but they were still pretty tasty.

After losing our beloved 902 Pizza we were forced to find another pizza place to feed our pizza/donair/garlic finger cravings. After running errands one night we popped in to Ronnie’s on Main Street on the way home. The place itself was clean and well lit and you could see back in to the kitchen area — which also looked clean — so we took that as a good sign and placed an order. I know they are famous for their 2-for-1 deal but it’s quite obvious that they have significantly raised the prices of their individual pizzas to make up for the«deal». We placed an order for a large donair and medium garlic fingers. It didn’t take long for the order and everything was still hot when we got it home(only a 5 minute drive). The garlic fingers were standard — but still delicious. Not a lot of extra oil/grease on them which is good. The donair, I was a disappointed. It had good flavour but I found the texture to be quite rubbery. On our next order my husband ordered us two small pizzas and a garlic fingers and a donair. The pizza was delcious — loads of toppings, crispy crust, but the donair still left me unsatisfied. I would probably still choose Ronnie’s over the handful of other pizza places around my place but I’m still looking for the best…

I have been ordering from Ronnies for several yrs… Both the pizza and donairs are near the top of the pecking order… if u know of another that are close — id like to hear about and try it — but i doubt they would come close. Recently surprised how great their poutine was! the garlic fingers are ok… the nachos are def not my cup of tea

The best donairs in town hands down. Beware though the stink will stay with you. Worth it

They serve quite a nice Lebanese combo plate with Chicken Schwarma! Pleasantly surprised.

Had my first ever Donair at the Cole Harbour location. VERY friendly service, and the interior is pretty upscale for a pizza joint. Oh yeah, the donair was really good too. :) Will defiantly be back sometime in the future.

Ronnie’s 2 For 1 does everything well. Donairs, pizza, salads. They have some of the best prices in Dartmouth when it comes to the almighty pie. With the exception parties I’ve always ended up having leftovers which work great for lunches. Did I mention that Ronnie’s pizza reheats from frozen like no other? They deliver most everywhere and have a few locations to cover all of Dartmouth. If you’re picking your pizza up at the Main Street location make sure you check out the portrait hanging beside the cash. There are four or five young guys in suits next to one very hairy man in a wife beater. It’s one of the strangest photos to grace the walls of an eatery. I was eating at the Mic Mac Tavern once and I saw Ronnie with his family, and I can say he is an all around nice guy. Of all the offerings I enjoy the donairs and the classic pepperoni and cheese the most. They keep late hours for the night owls or party-goers.

Well Congratulations to Ronnie and the new opening of his second pizza store. Ronnie’s is now located in the strip plaza in Cole Harbour with a bran new store and it is beautiful. Now this is a place that you can take the family to and enjoy one of Ronnie’s delicious pizzas. The design of the store will allow you to sit and watch them make the pizza from this really cool counter over looking the production. As well flat screen TV’s are located around the store for you to enjoy while you wait. We stopped by Sat night to see the new place as well to enjoy my favourite a Donair Sub toasted. I am telling you it is the best Donair meat in town. As well Ronnie is also serving his usual menu of pizsa and salads as well as his other specialities on the menu. Again Congrats!
