Sunwich make the best omelet in all of Nova Scotia. I have to stop by the restaurant whenever I am in the area and not to mention great customer service skill. Keep it up guys you rock!

My friends and I waited 15 minutes for a bagel. Looked at it «I Thought I’d would be better than this» I didn’t order anything other than a drink because everything was pricey for what they were offering. I also noticed that their baked goods(muffins, cinnamon roll bites, squares), are bought from Costco

Sunwich is the closest restaurant near my office so I’ve popped in a few times. The place is small with mainly a salad and sandwich thing going on. I ordered just both of their grille cheese options which were nothing special even their sunwich bread is bland and the onl other option is store bought whole wheat bread. 4.50 plus for just a grilled cheese is a little excessive. Also their soups, they list it as soup of the day but every day it’s a loaded baked potato and another option, please just list loaded baked potato on your menu full time and then also say you have a soup of the day. Everything even of you are eating in is served in non recyclable take out container which is a pet peeve of mine. Over all even though the sunwich is close I will by pass it and walk an extra 10 min to get something else in Dartmouth Crossing.

Sunwich Café is a great place to grab a quick bite when you’re in the midst of some retail therapy. With delicious sandwiches and amazing salads at very reasonable prices, the only negative aspect of this place is that they don’t have a Halifax location!

I haven’t had much of a variety of foods from here but I’ve had the Caesar salad, their BLT sandwich and their potato soup. The soup is delicious. If you want any of it, it’s usually sold out by 1:30pm so make sure you go early to get it. I’m not a big fan of their décor though.

During my frantic day of errands I decided to pop in Sunwich Café for a quick bite. I hadn’t been in since the previous café was there. I must say I was a little disappointed in the whole experience. I ordered a turkey sandwich and an orange pekoe tea. The sandwich was delicious. Tea was ok for the typical bagged variety, mother parkers brand I believe, Dislikes: served in take out fashion for eat in. Not even a plate for my sandwich, tea in a paper cup. The garbage container was compartmentalized, but not taken advantage of, everything was dumped in, no compost. I noticed a lot of Styrofoam packaging and guess the soups and salads are served on this. This tells me the owners don’t care for the environment at all, don’t even try. Sad. The décor is pretty nice and relaxing. I was surprised on how run down it looked for being a new establishment. There was also a Pepsi machine just ploped out on the floor by the tables, there were even paintings behind it. Evidently they are more focused on the take-away customers than the dine-in experience. The lighting was nice, but for the couple of burnt out bulbs. No wi-fi, not sure about the accessibility of the washroom facilities.

Situated smack dab in the middle of Dartmouth Crossing, this fairly new café offers what has to be one of the most unique sandwich concepts in Halifax-Dartmouth. Such combinations as turkey-cranberry, apple make for a creative yet tasty twist on the everyday sandwich, and the unique, ultra-secret«sunny sauce» used to tweak the bread with flavor is quite addictive. The best part about this café? Their delightful, one-of-a-kind sandwiches won’t burn a hole in your pocket!
