It’s a Tim’s so really 3 stars is like a 4 star review. It really is never going to be 5 star place. Nothing is spectacular but it is really a rating against the typical and expected norms. I primarily hit the drive thru and I find it to be fine. They have a couple of young guys how are always very friendly and so are the rest. I can’t comment on the quality of the coffee because I don’t drink it; however, the tea is typically good. I usually just get a bagel heated in the microwave, which is tough to mess up. Aside from the sometimes confused questions: toasted? No, heated please. Want it cut in half? No thanks. Butter? No.

This location is minutes away from my doorstep, so I visit a lot. I’m not usually pulled together enough on weekdays to get out of the house on time to pick up a coffee on the way to work, but on weekends? I dig that I can jump in the car(in my jammies and bedhead… yes I’m one of those people), hit the drive thru, and be back on the couch with my large double double within 5 minutes. So it has convenience going for it as there is never a long wait at the drive thru, despite being situated on a crazy busy street. The service is fine, and the food items are the same quality as any other Timmies. But the coffee. Oh the coffee. It’s not great. It never tastes quite like it’s supposed to. There are varying levels of how close it is to my large double double from any other Timmies. Some days it’s close enough to forgive. Usually it’s just okay or meh. Other days, it’s downright awful — like either warm water with a slight infusion of coffee or completely burnt-tasting coffee. I keep going because it’s… right over there. And for some reason, driving a little farther to a better Tim Hortons seems uncouth in my jammies and bedhead.
