First time here and all I can is wow !!! Nicest doughnut shop and friendly fast service! The interior was like a wooden doughnut box and everything was very clean and up to date! The doughnut selection was plentiful and they melt in your mouth! I drove 4O minutes to come here to try one of these original glazed doughnut and I will be driving back again very soon and again lol!

Drove out to see what all the fuss was about. Seems like your standard donut chain to me. We tried six over the weekend(indulgent weekend haha!) and they were all completely average. Won’t be back! Too many great places in the city.

I’m definitely going back for hot donuts, which are supposedly available between 5:30 and 9:30 am and 3:00 to 5:30 pm(or something like that). I loved the original and custard donuts but disliked their coffee — it was sour and weak. They need to improve their coffee recipe; after all this is Tim Horton’s country. Coffee aside, the donuts were awesome and I’m itching to try a hot one next time.

I’m from North Carolina, home of the original Krispy Kreme, so I’m clearly going to be biased here. But to set some expectations, these aren’t your fancy gourmet Vancouver doughnuts. Let’s be clear though — fancier isn’t always better. For the full authentic KK experience, come when the«Hot Doughnuts» sign is lit up(mornings and afternoons) and get at least a half dozen original glazed. Prepare to experience heaven. Spotless inside, very friendly and patient employees. Be sure to get a little paper KK hat for your kiddos!

Why are there not more locations for Krispy Kreme? The popular American donut shop is out in a dead parking lot of a dead mall in Delta — there’s no other reason to come here than to get their delicious sweety goodness. I only come here once every few months but always get at least a dozen donuts. They always have amazing deals, like two dozen for $ 15, or buy a dozen get the other dozen free, etc. It’s hard not to come home with a million donuts. Their rotating flavours are delicious(like the peach pie! even if I broke out in hives…), the original is classic and satisfactory enough not to need anything more than that. $ 15 for two dozen donuts? What’s wrong with that(aside from my ballooning waistline)? Love the drive thru because it means no dawdling and buying more than what I had originally planned to get there. I’ll admit that even though I’ve tried several of their donuts, nothing is as amazing as their original glazed one. They are like fluffy pillows made by angels that you get to shove in your face. I had two with an iced cap from Timmy’s and they went well together. My dentist will love working on my teeth because I probably consumed enough sugar to last a week and then some!

I love coming here for doughnuts because they have good flavors and the doughnuts are pretty large. They also have a working doughnut factory behind a glass wall so you can watch them make the doughnuts which is really interesting. The only thing that keeps me from coming here more often is the price, because Krispy Kreme is a bit more than some other doughnut chains. However, the quality is really good, so i splurge on my junk food budget every once in a while to get a snack here.

Really tasty donuts and decent coffee too. They have a red neon sign that is lit when they are making donuts so you can get them while they are hot. Yum!

The plan is always the same: Go in, get a small treat, get out. As soon as I see the counter though, it falls apart. Stretchy pants here I come. I have done bad things to my health here on more than one occasion and will do so again. Heavy breathing. They aren’t revolutionary, they aren’t fancy, but they are the best chain store donut I know off. In theory I could compare it to Timmie’s but in reality they are miles apart. Watching them roll off the line is kind of fun. I like the chocolate cake the best but the classic is also a gem, best to get a few, J.I.C. Coffee is decent as well.

Selection is good! Went to the only Krispy Kreme in Vancouver last night shortly after dinner. Great place for desert. Wife and I shared a few doughnuts including: Banana Cream, Carrot Cake, Original and Maple Bar. By far our favourite is the Carrot Cake. Apparently its only around for a limited time. Tip: Go after 9pm and get a dozen doughnuts for 50% off!

I’ve been here several times and have tried pretty much every donut in the shop. I especially like the free donut you get when the neon sign is lit but I seem to have missed it the last few times I’ve gone. In any case, there’s a reason why Krispy Kremes are so much better than competitors like Tim Horton’s. They make their donuts fresh on-site. None of this par-baking garbage that Timmy’s does. There’s a huge difference in taste and quality. That being said, the first Krispy Kreme you eat is amazing. The second is pretty good. The third(and any after if you can stomach it) is awful. This is not a place to binge but to occasionally, and responsibly indulge.

I’ve eaten at many Krispy Kreme doughnut in the US and like Tim Horton’s is here, Krispy Kreme is the end all be all in regards to donuts in the States(so it seems). I was surprised that there were a few shops that popped up in BC and the limited locations that do exist seems to be doing okay for themselves all things considering. The good news is that the doughnut don’t taste like a cavity assault like the US version, however, still a bit too sweet for my taste buds. I always have to end up either splitting a doughnut in half between on the way to the guy I am dating and on the way back on the bus. I appreciate that there are some doughnuts that cater to some dietary needs, however, for the most part this is a guilty pleasure that is once in a blue moon for me. The prices are decent and the customer service has always been consistent with me.

YUM!!! It’s Krispy Kreme. And they make the best glazed donuts ever! Their other donuts tend to be a little too sweet for my liking. But in my opinion, they do one thing very well, the glazed donuts.

Oh wow, donuts dozens here are half price after 2100. Not sure when they started this promotion but I think this is the start of many late night runs for me. You can thank me later, and your dentist will thank you later as well.

A novelty more than anything else nowadays, and the only one I know that is available in BC. I remember a time, long long ago when these things where the ‘f’ing bomb’, and that you would see line-ups like you see at food banks for the sweet goodness of these ‘bad for your health’ treats. Gone are those days, and gone are the line ups, but somehow this location survives. You can still get the Krispy Kreme paper hat, and you can still come in, and look at the assortment of doughnuts they have here, and look at the conveyor belt machine that pumps these bad boys out, but usually they are not on, unlike before when your mouth would water, and they would give you a whole ‘original’ glazed doughnut to eat, and it would melt in your freaking mouth, and the first thing you would think of is reaching in your pocket for money to take these suckers with you packing to home. Well, after a long hiatus, I return to get some of that ‘retro’ goodness that I fondly remember, and as I said, I’ve never been to this location. Not many people in there, just a few, making up their minds if they want a few, or a box of 12. Me and my partner roll up, not believing that we just made a donut run out to here, but there we were, on a sunny day, with the green outline, and red letters looking us in the face. We didn’t stay long, as there wasn’t much to see, or any free samples to taste, as the machines were probably done for the day cooking up the stock of donuts for the day. We did however purchase two donuts, one was the original glazed, the other was some ‘piss-poor’ cake like donut, and by the way I’m describing it, non-memorable! We had the ‘other’ donut first, was not impressed, then I allowed my partner to bite into the ‘original’ and a smile came to her face. These things may not be ‘crack-like’ compared to before, but they still bring you back to a time of yesteryear, when gas was cheap, housing was affordable, and organic food was just being introduced. I don’t know when I will see you again, but if any of you do run across a Krispy Kreme, hopefully you get to try one right out of the deep fryer, and know what true badazz donuts tasted like when they were at their hay day!

How the economic times have changed… when they have their neon sign lit up usually mid-day, you would get a free honey-glazed donut to sample! Now, it’s only half-size, and have to ask for it as I found out the other day. Worker claims they’ve stopped that over a year ago… My favs are the honey-glazed, lemon/raspberry fillings… don’t get tempted by the Toffee, sucked big time. At least they give away all the donuts at end of night to the Food Bank. Still, it’s a cool place to watch the donut-making process, bright, diner-ish décor, and plenty of seating and hang out to work on the laptop ;) that’s always good by my books, and plenty of plaza parking.

What could be better then a warm Krispy Kreme doughnut just out of the fryer and perfectly glazed melting in your mouth. The mystique of Krispy Kreme has lost it’s luster. There used to be a time when they had a fanatical, cult-like following in the Southern US where it was only available. When they opened franchises in Manhatten, LA, and Las Vegas, there were line ups stretching around the block. They were the hottest thing around and made nearly $ 100 million in profits ending fiscal 2004. As rapidly as it climbed in the hearts of doughnut lovers and in Wall St as it’s stock soared; it rapidly spiraled in a deep dive in 2004 when it missed it’s first quarterly earnings report. Then CEO blamed the first ever quarter loss on the Atkins diet and consumers trending towards low-carb diets. Really? Say it ain’t so, Mr. CEO. What the heck happened? How can a company being in business for over 70 years with a legendary product and loyal customer base fall from grace so fast? After all, Dunkin and Tim Horton’s are still around. Well, it’s probably because of a combination of too much ambition, greed, and inexperience after they became a public company. They expanded too quickly and it became too available and lost the mystique factor. But, I digress as I find the history of this franchise interesting. The original glazed doughnut is as good as people say. I remember when they opened it’s franchise in Issaquah, WA state. I drove all the way there to buy two dozen glazed. It’s better then any other doughnut from Tim’s. I always buy half dozen glazed and half assorted. It’s one of those things that you must try at least once.

Krispy Kreme just got even better. We could jaw all day until the cows come home about what the best doughnuts in town are, but now that KK dispenses practically free coffee with every order, they’ve got an edge on the competition. Yep, with any delicious doughnut, a small coffee is 5c, a medium 15c and a large 20c. I also love that they have 1% milk for my coffee, as well as the usual skim and whole options. And they really are the best doughnuts if freshness, toppings or taste and texture are considerations, so discover Delta already, ya sugar-deprived whingers.
