We live amidst some of the best shopping in Montréal(e.g. right around the corner from the La Canadienne flagship store) and we travel a lot, but I would never miss a trip to Cardinos when in Duncan. They might be my favourite shoe store. All kinds of cool, unusual styles sourced from around the world. I’m in love with my Israeli Nahot clogs(only place I’ve ever seen this brand), and the very knowledgable sales assistant(clearly a fellow shoe-lover!) who spent a long, patient time helping me decide between different sizes. No need to say that I’ll be back next time we’re on the Island.

Absolutely the best shoe store I have ever shopped at. Staff are both patient(sometimes it takes me awhile to decide which pair I love) and very knowledgable(they recommend brands, styles and sizes) while also being wonderfully human. I recently had a problem with one of the shoes I bought there and it was replaced! That is solid service. I would completely and whole heartedly recommend this store! And if you are coming from Vancouver or Victoria, it is definitely worth the trip.
