Pizzas are good. It’s just pizza that you bake at home. Literally. It’s ok.

I have been going here since they opened in Duncan, every time the staff are friendly and the place is so clean. last Christmas eve i picked up the Chicago stuffed pizza and it instantly became a tradition at my house. I signed up for email and they let me know about specials, like the Halloween pumpkin pizza which my grandsons loved. i have not been disappointed with any item ordered of the menu and we have tried a lot. If you have not been yet then you are missing out.

After caving in to pressure from my son, who in turn was pressured by some funny tv ad, I went to Papa Murphy’s take ‘n Bake pizza for the first time the other day. I got there at around 4pm and found the place to be spotless (it should be as it hasn’t been open long) The girl behind the counter was very friendly and was soon joined by the manager/​owner? Anyway they made some suggestions like ordering the very low priced special… a large hawaiian for $ 10.99 but my son would have locked me out of the house had I not returned with a stuffed crust pizza. This isn’t he stuffed crust that you get at Pizza Hut which is some sort of industrial caulking that is mechanically injected into the crust. This is basically a whole pizza with another pizza on top then they roll the two outer crusts together. All told this thing had to weigh about 3lbs. The price was just over 22bucks and would easily feed 4 adults if you had a salad or other side. I asked for a couple of additional toppings on half the pizza, I wanted black olives and green peppers on half. That addition cost me an extra 4 dollars and change which I think is way over the top so be carefull with additions. I got it home and followed the directions that they gave me at the store for doing it on the BBQ and it turned out fantastic. Far superior to the local delivery joints. The best part about it is the fact that it’s fresh from the oven when you eat it. Overall I’d highly recommend them and wish them success.
