I don’t find great swings in the quality of Chinese food in Hamilton/Dundas. It’s all sort of the same, Chan’s is no exception. …but for the love of all things good and culinary, please steam clean your carpets. If the colour of the carpets reflects what is going on in the kitchen, we’re all dead.

Hour and 40 minute delivery on a wednesday… cheap ingredients and poorly prepared. The only thing full was my garbage bag. Dont waste your money. (Unfortunately there is no 0 star rating)

+ good chinese food, reasonable prices — waitress is not the friendliest I’ve been here several times now and the food is consistently good. My friend get’s the Shanghai Noodles with chicken for $ 8.50, it’s pretty big. I usually get the combo with wonton soup, egg roll, chicken chow mein, chicken balls, ribs, and fried rice. All for $ 9.50, pretty good deal. I pass on the shrimp as I am not a fan. It’s a nice meal, the only downside is the chicken balls taste a little greasy, like they need to change the grease more often. The waitress here is decent, just not that talkative or friendly. Oh well. When it gets busy, it’s hard to get her attention. Décor in here is old school, from about 30 years ago.

Good food, quickly made, wonderful prices. This is my go-to takeout in Dundas. I like family restaurants and this is a multi-generational one. Chan’s makes good food and good sized portions. 4⁄5
