Flamboro Downs Harness Racetrack

The casino is ok. I lose a lot here and there are no tables but, it’s close to my grandmas so I visit when I’m there. However, I tried their food for the first time and I must say. they have the BEST fish & chips I have had in a long time (30 years, to be exact)! I was so impressed that I would actually go out of my way to stop there just for that when I’m passing through. I have been looking for a great fish ‘n chips for quite sometime. A++

This review only pertains to the casino part of Flamboro Downs.
I love Flamboro Downs Slots. The venue is small, intimate and provides excellent customer service. Not to mention, there are no tables available at this location, so if you want to play table games that are not electronic, I suggest heading to Brantford.
Like other casinos, there are no clocks or windows at Flamboro, but the slot machines are evenly placed around the facility, and range in denomination. Additionally, the place is never extremely busy, so you could casually stroll around before deciding which machine to play. And the bathrooms, they are always clean or being cleaned.
When getting a hand pay out, attendants are fast and efficient, and if you need a drink, servers are constantly wandering around and there is also a self-​serve beverage area right in the centre of the casino.
Flamboro Downs does have a couple negatives though. For one, the self-​serve beverage machines sometimes have no ice, and the pops tastes disgusting (I think it may be from over usage on a busy day). Also, there are way too many Cleopatra games located around the casino. I swear, each time they renovate an area, more of the same game is brought in.
Overall, its one of my favourite casinos and some of the security people are gorgeous.
