pedicure they did was amazing, but there was nothing special about the place at all. The chairs didint massage you, and the foot bath had no jets, or atleast they didin’t \have it on. It was just a wham bam thank you 25 dollars please… if they said that. I didint like that not one word was spoken in english until they wanted money, or told you to sit down like a drill sargent. The foot and leg massage was the best part about it but I dont care how close it is to work ill never go back.

I have been going to Bayview Nails for the past 3 years for my manicures and pedicures. They do a terrific job, and you can make an appointment, or walk in. The prices are extremely reasonable ($ 35 for a manicure and pedicure). The girls are Vietnamese and have limited English, which isn’t a problem.

At first glance this place looks like your typical nail place. It had simple décor, massage chairs, etc. Every time I’ve passed by this place it is always packed. The prices seem fair and I have been looking forward in going for some time. I was so exciting when I finally found time to go. However, I have never had a manicure that felt as much like torture than this place. The lady that was doing my manicure was anything but gentle. She cut too much skin off around my nails. She was suppose to cut the dead skin off not the live ones! So the next day after my manicure my skin around my nails started to peel. The peel is not due to my lack of moisturize in my hands I put on hand cream obsessively. When she was roughing the top of my nails with the buffing block my skin around my nails was tender but she still forcefully put pressure around my finger to rough up the surface. I was in pain! Then the worst part of all was when she was trying to clean under my nails she dug so deep it felt like torture! I don’t even have dirty finger nails! Everyone working there had a frown and seemed like they wanted to be anywhere else but there. I am not even sure if they autoclave their tools. I was looking for one when I was there and I couldn’t spot any autoclaves there to sanitize their tools. I am never returning there again and I would advise you to not to as well.

I found this gem on Bayview Ave. last year and have taken all my friends! The service is quick, you always get walk-​in appointments, the employees are polite, although most have limited English. They know how to do a great manicure and pedicure, often doing them at the same time if you’re in a hurry. It’s not a place to go for spa music, candle light and relaxation, but they have the comfortable massaging pedicure spa chairs and after 3 visits you get your own personal box and tools. The prices are EXTREMELY reasonable and there is parking right outside on Bayview Ave. (paid) or on the residential streets around it (free!). I would highly recommend this nail boutique.
