Khru Mike is one of the best teachers I’ve had in any subject. He takes the time and effort to explain answers to questions and is very supportive with students of all levels.

This martial arts school is amazing. I train Muay Thai (you can also train BJJ, MMA, Karate, etc.) and the level of instruction is excellent. Kru Mike Yackulic is a very nice person and is a very good instructor — he is an extremely patient man and can find ways to really get the best out of you. Also, the students are all willing to help you out!
I have been training here for over a year and I always feel very excited going to class because I learn something new every class. I always feel like I am being challenged and that I am continually testing and exceeding the limits that my body places on me. Eventually I would like to compete but you are never forced to compete if you don’t want to. This isn’t a crazy martial arts school in which your instructor will beat you for making a mistake! There are even quite a few women that train here as well!
I have improved my physical fitness and my athleticism, learned some cool moves that may help me out in sticky situations and gained an extreme amount of confidence! Whether you are looking to compete, train for fun or simply want to get fit, this school is definitely a place to check out.

This is my goto spot when I am up in Edmonton. Mike is a top notched teacher and is competition certified. He is a true BJJ black belt.
This school has a lot of classes so you can stop by and get a roll on about any time of day. Good programs in Muay Thai and the kettle bell training class is a work out!!!
