This café is hidden away in a strip mall, but once inside it’s very spacious with lots of seating and a fireplace, and it feels cozy and private. They offer a variety of drinks, soups, sandwiches, and other café type food. The couple times I’ve come, it’s been great(last time I had the chicken pot pie, which looked like a little panini. Really good!). Once you order, you can take a seat to wait for your food and drinks to be brought out to you. I will definitely be returning in the future for afternoon coffee dates!

The tea here is great! There is a fairly good selection of food and deserts, grab a cinnamon bun for sure! Bogani has a very chill vibe, I like what they seem to be going for but have fallen short on getting there. There are 3 sections with comfy couch seating, but they are usually taken first, a few more comfy spots would be great! The wifi password is usually posted by the bookshelf’s on the raised level. Enjoy! And if you see a lady customer with the smile of an angel named Amy there please give her a hug and tell her I miss her. She’s a great woman!

Instead of supporting franchised stores, I like to support the occasional family-owned café. Bogani café is one these establishments and there’s always enough room to have an evening meeting. During a meeting tonight with three others, I ordered a drink and a pot of tea to share. The staff had no issues providing us with the extra cups. In the middle of our meeting, the owner comes up to our table and explains her high cost of running the business, saying that each pot of tea is limited to 2 cups(2 customers). There was no indication anywhere that this was the policy on the menu, and her staff were the ones who provided us with the few extra cups. We felt so berated that we actually purchased more food and beverages. I couldn’t believe how the owner felt that the customer needed to take responsibility for a mistake that may have been made by her staff. I generally like to host a meeting there on the southside but I don’t think I will ever go back based on the service that we received from the owner. What a shame.

This is just an update. Same great friendly service. The food is tasty and the coffee is wonderful. They have recently undergone a renovation that has really brightened up the environment. I really appreciate it and it makes the whole place even more welcoming. Come and Enjoy!

I think this is a neighborhood gem! Great location that offers lots of seating & very good selection of teas, coffee & healthy meals all made fresh! They also offer Almond milk for your tea or latte which is great if you have a dairy allergy. I enjoy going here in the evenings for dessert or weekdays for business meetings!

Cute little coffee shop. I usually order the soy chai latte from here or the green tea latte and am never disappointed everytime I order these two drinks. The décor is homie, and a little random but I think it’s cute and plays into the family run atmosphere. The staff are very nice here. I would recommend this place if you want a small modest place to enjoy a nice cup of brew.

This used to be nice, but a little expensive to go for coffee/snack. Now it’s just expensive. I’d rather now go across the road to Charbucks even though I don’t like them either. ’nuff said.

It makes me sad to have to update my great review for this place. Since I found this place a month ago, I have probably gone about 3 times a week, if not more. I was in love with the chai tea latte, but the more I went, the less I liked it. Here’s why 1. They give out cards that you can stamp, and eventually you get a free coffee, GREAT. But as I got very close to my free coffee, all of a sudden, they don’t stamp for chai tea lattes… only regular lattes. Did they suddenly change their policy? Or they just didn’t want to give out my free coffee? 2. After being there so much, I thought I would ask for the wifi password since it kept popping up on my phone. The owner said I would have to pay $ 5 for the password… WHAT? It’s free everywhere else. 3. Every time I came in, I would browse the deserts, having to talk myself out of getting them for my skinny jeans sake. Instead I would go for the fruit or the muffins. Soon I started to notice though, that the deserts were siting there a pretty long time. To the point of me whispering«is that still the same coffee cake as 2 weeks ago?». So long story short, I feel very nickel and dimed from a place that I spent a lot of money at. I can overlook one of my problems, but not all 3. I left two stars because I love the chai, but sadly, won’t be returning to this little«gem».

This place used to be very cozy. Now it’s a little too well lit and has lost its comfort and private feeling. Plus, the new owners are charging $ 5 for wifi with is totally bs in this day and age. By the way, the password on Jan 22, 2010 was«great_coffee_here». And the cappuccinos are not very good anymore, either. Toooooooo much foam topping, wow.

After the sad Bagel Bin closing at the Collingwood strip mall, it was decided to give Bogani Café a try. I was looking forward to finding a replacement local place with affordable and fresh café fare. We ended up ordering a cranberry and turkey panini as well as a chickpea salad. The panini was pretty pathetic, with perhaps 3 or 4 craisins thrown into some Sobeys deli meat. As for the chickpea salad… well, let’s just say the green giant frozen veg medly of carrots, corns, and peas were not quite defrosted. I believe this was the first time I have ever returned food asking for a refund. Oh dearest Bagel Bin, where have you gone? For your fresh sandwiches, paninis, breads, and pastries are surely missed

This is very warm and cozy place to grab a white hot chocolate(my favorite!) on a cold Edmonton day. There is a big fireplace at the back that adds a great deal to comfort and warmth of the Italian-feeling café. The sweet treats that Mr. and Mrs. Lee have on display are too good to resist! But you might want to have one of their delicious, healthy sandwiches first. I am always surprised at big Bogani is when I walk in. It has plenty of seating and a lot of room to spare. I love the numerous china tea sets that they have on display and for sale — they are so beautiful and dainty. They would make a great Christmas gift! They also have a selection of loose leaf tea for sale(possibly to go with your new tea set). I really enjoy stopping by Bogani and I think it is a great place to catch up with a friend over coffee(or in my case, white hot chocolate).
