Coral de Cuba

I’m not entirely sure what I was expecting when I heard this is a Cuban /​Vietnamese restaurant. What kind of combination is that? But, I decided to stop by when I had a phở craving, and I left disappointed.
The phở was not good at all. The broth tasted like it came from a packet. The noodles were incredibly rubbery and clumped together, which means that they were most likely precooked and left to sit on the counter for a solid amount of time (ick.). There was a decent amount of meat, but it wasn’t flavourful to eat. I also got some salad rolls, and those were gross. The skin of the wrapping was dried out and crusty. The noodles were in the same state. The meat filling was incredibly greasy and there were no veggies. How can you have a SALAD roll sans veggies???
Service was terrible. There were only two tables filled in the restaurant, yet the waitress managed to mix our orders up. She also messed up the order of the guy at the table next to us, then proceeded to try and tell the customer that he had somehow messed up ordering chicken fingers.

Really good Cuban Food. Very friendly restaurant! And they have cuban beer :). (Bucanero and Crystal)
