D & M Tattoo And Piercing

I’ve been the a few tattoo shops and this by far is my favourite. The atmosphere is amazing and so are the artists. The owner, Dinnie, is hilarious. Definitely takes good care of his artists.
I’ve had 3 tattoos done here. One by a former artist, Megan. And two from an apprentice, Stephany. I can’t rave more about their service and the quality of their work. If you’re looking for an amazing tattoo definitely go see these guys. They do piercings too!

I came here in early September to get my nose pierced. The girl (she never told me her name) was super nice and friendly and it was looking like I might have a better experience here than the reputation for it would imply (I have only ever heard negative things about D&M but figured «hey, they can’t screw up a nose piercing»). She marked it and got to work… and that’s when things took a turn for the worse. Halfway through the piercing she states «oh wow, you’re a bleeder» which worried me because I have never bled much from any of my previous 8 piercings. Then she said «oh crap… this is such a rookie mistake!!» She had lost contact with the needle and jewelry halfway through my nose!!! My nose was GUSHING blood and she had to dig around for another 20 minutes to try to force the jewelry through (meanwhile I’m choking on my blood that is running down my throat). She was apologetic and charged me only $ 20 for the piercing but I left miffed knowing that I am never going back there again and will not be recommending it to anyone.

Love this place! I’ve been to several different piercing places in edmonton. So far, this is the best! He explained everything to me. Gave me information to take home. It was lovely! Best part, it’s reasonably priced! Lots of places say a piercing is so much money then you go and it’s double, almost triple the price they told you it was. Here it’s one price for everything including jewlery. I recomend them to everyone I know who is thinking about getting a piercing. You guys are great! Keep up the good work.
