Worst service ever! Also, never answers the phone for orders for delivery or pick up!

I ordered the large steak phở and my spouse ordered the large chicken phở. We both felt that this was the smallest amount of meat we’ve ever had at a phở restaurant in our soups, and it also cost a lot if we wanted to add extra meat(up to 2x more compared to other phở restaurants we’ve eaten at). We originally decided against ordering the green onion cakes(because you had to order two pieces for $ 6.50 which was too much for the two of us; they did not allow a half size order, I asked!) but after the phở we were still hungry so we didn’t have a choice. Overall I give it 3⁄5 as the food was actually pretty good, but the meat portion for the soup was a big shortfall and the cost to add more was too expensive. Also, the fact that they weren’t willing to sell one green onion cake for a lesser price was a disappointment. Lastly, although the service was slow(as they were busy over the lunch hour as expected), I felt that they were very nice. I think I’d try going again for one of the plated meals as those might be more filling for the same price as a noodle soup meal, and chances are it’ll be as good as the soup :)

To start, this particular place is in a bit of a sketchy part of town, if you can get past that, be prepared for dining with locals. That’s typically a pretty decent indicator of a trusted food joint, although I wasn’t overly impressed with the food quality. I’ve had better Phở in other places while traveling but this will work in a pinch. I wasn’t certain what I was eating at all times but the folks around me seemed to enjoy it. I’ll leave it up to you if you are feeling adventurous.

Unfortunately I was so disappointed! The phở was so bad! Watered down, even the meat had no flavour! So not a go to place for phở, I have had phở at many restaurants and this was the worse the tea was bad too, as well watered down, but my mom had a curry dish with coconut rice that she liked and my niece a side of beef that she loved, looking forward to trying other dishes since it’s close to my parents house but never the phở again ! Service was pretty good, small restaurant but ambience was nice

I’ve walked by Delicious Phở a million times because it’s just down the street from where I live, and only tried it as takeout for the first time just recently. I had the #15 which is a phở with just about every ingredient in it(yes, even the tripe haha). It was tasty! I agree, not the best phở I’ve ever had, but it does the job and has a great location! They are also on SkipTheDishes so they deliver throughout the city for a reasonable fee! My order was prompt and perfect. I’ll definitely be back!

Worst vegetarian sub ever! No tofu, no garlic mayonaise just lettuce on a bun for $ 7! Never again…

This place is becoming my go to phở place downtown Edmonton! The service is always very quick and very friendly which is a nice change from some other Vietnamese restaurants in Edmonton. They have a good selection and large portion sizes! I usually either get the chicken phở or the specialty chicken vermicelli bowl as I don’t eat red meat and it’s always really delicious! I ordered take-out this weekend on a Sunday and it was ready in 10 minutes! Very happy with this place overall!

I have to say, I am really impressed after my first experience with Delicious Phở this evening. My boyfriend and I ordered online through , he the chicken phở noodle soup, and I the steak and brisket. When it arrived, there were some issues with his order, but it was dealt with so quickly and professionally by Delicious Phở, that I have nothing but excellent feelings about the whole transaction. The boss herself actually delivered a replacement bowl for us and was absolutely lovely. Of course I can’t fail to mention the food — the steak and brisket noodle soup was fantastic(so much meat — awesome!) and probably the best Phở I’ve had since we’ve lived in Edmonton. I will 100% be either visiting or ordering again, because they really went above and beyond to create a good experience. Yum!

The service needs A LOT of improvement. Other than than, the food is actually very good. Recommended. Try their vermicelli bowls. One of the good ones in the city…

I went here for the first time today, as I was in need of a hot bowl of soup due to the blustery weather and it was on my way home. I noticed that the reviews here on Unilocal have been lukewarm at best. While the bowl of Phở Tai I had was certainly not the best I have ever had, it was an ample portion for a regular size, with lots of meat that was reasonably tender(although it was already cooked when it arrived at my table). The soup was very hot and stayed that way, and while the broth was not the most complex, it was not terrible either. I also had an order of green onion cakes and they were good — could have been a bit crispier on the outside — and served with a sweet chili sauce. Service was fast and friendly, and the place is very clean and bright. I noticed the menu was quite varied, with a number of vegetarian choices, appetizers, vermicelli bowls, Vietnamese subs, and different kinds of meat rolls. Drinks include pop, Vietnamese coffee, and bubble teas. A bowl of soup will run you in the $ 10 range, with appetizers around $ 7. I hope to go here again soon and hope the food will be consistent.

The broth is mediocre and plain. Very dark and doesn’t look like it’s from scratch. The condiments etc are limited and dingy looking. It was decent. Not great. Not horrible.

Sure it isn’t the greatest phở place in Edmonton. In fact, it’s pretty average. But it gets the job done. And in the end isn’t that what you want from a neighborhood phở place. I had a large phở with beef flank. The broth was good. Nothing to write home about, but not bad. The noodles were standard and there were good chunks of beef in the bowl. The veggies that accompanied it was plentiful and the leaves only had a few dark splotches on them. So all in all pretty average. I’m giving 4 stars because I think the 2.5 average stars is too low for this place. It’s at least 3. I like the location because I can walk here. Doan’s in my opinion is a better option in the DT area, but as I live in Oliver it is closer to me. I wouldn’t go out of my way to much to come here, but it warrants walking a few blocks to get here.

I had phở and salad rolls as I always do at Vietnamese. Everything was pretty standard, not great not terrible. I’d go back if I were in the neighbour but I wouldn’t make a special trip. The restaurant itself is quite nice. Very clean and modern. Service was also just fine, everything came out fast and hot. I’d say the beef in the phở is its best quality. I’m fairly picky with meat and I had no issues with any of the beef in my phở so that’s a good sign to me. Also parking is an issue and a reason I won’t be racing to go back.

This is very much a fusion restaurant in that even though«phở» is in the restaurant’s name, it includes many more items that you would not usually find at a traditional phở joint. Generally, places like this don’t have the best phở(e.g., Doan’s) but their other food is good — this place is no exception. Recently, a few of us stopped by for a weekday lunch. Clean, modern décor. The place was packed — probably 85% full, so that was a good sign. Conversely, this meant that service was on the slow side. I didn’t see any parking but there was plenty of parking on the side streets. Prices are on the higher side, but only $ 1 – 2 for the phở than a more traditional joint. I ordered bun bo hue, my friends ordered a traditional brisket phở, and the grilled pork vermicelli bowl. We split a grilled pork banh mi, just to see what it was like. The large bun bo hue and phở were really quite large. As in, the size of the XL special at King Noodle House Phở. My friend said he thought his phở had a great amount of meat, though I found that my bun bo hue was mostly soup — I didn’t find that there was proportionally more meat or noodles for this large size. I’m fine with this though because I often run out of soup when having bun bo hue at other places. However, I found the broth not very authentic. It was very dark and I could not detect any lemongrass at all. The slices of steak and brisket in it were very well cooked, a little tough actually, and there were no homemade meatballs(which I don’t think is traditional anyway, just that I’m used to getting that at other places). My friend said his phở was good but not excellent — it also looked like a very dark brown broth. Something odd — we had to ask for the traditional accompaniments, and even then, she only brought us bean sprouts and the licorice-y herb — no citrus wedges or shredded cabbage for my bun bo hue. My other friend really enjoyed his vermicelli bowl. The banh mi wasn’t bad either, though I found the fillings sparse, and the bread a little dry. Overall this restaurant is a healthy choice — just don’t expect completely traditional phở/bun bo hue and stick to the other items and you’ll probably like it! Oh, they take credit cards :)

I was so excited to try this place, since it’s right by my work, and there are virtually no Vietnamese restaurants in the area. And with«delicious» in the name, how could I go wrong? My first impression when I walked in was that the décor felt wrong. Basically, ultra-chic modern meets cafeteria style. It really doesn’t make any sense. I mean, go modern and fancy-up the food. Or go cafeteria and lower the prices. Just pick one! I’ve had salad rolls here and vermicelli bowls. I’m not sure how consistent the food is. The first time I ordered a bowl, the meat was overcooked and dry. The second time, it was fine. But the food is still nothing to rave about. It’s all right. If I was starving, and there was no where else to go, I probably wouldn’t complain that much. But there are way better places to go for Vietnamese in the city, and this place is just kind of meh.

I have been here twice and both time the food wasn’t that great. The first time there, i had ordered Phở and when it came out, the broth was just dark foggy brown. After tasting the broth, it was definitely not a broth made from scratch. You can tell the aroma of the spices wasn’t in the broth because they used powder. At the second visit, I ordered my fave grilled pork vermicelli bowl. The grilled pork was cut into very small bite sizes and it tasted dry, rubbery, burnt, and fatty. I believe the grilled pork was previously grilled, then frozen, then when ordered, they deep fry it again and that is why it was so dry and greasy. Overall, the restaurant décor was beautiful and modern, and the customer service was great because the food came promptly but I would not go back.

We have ordered from this restaurant weekly since there opening. The restaurant has friendly staff and a very nice upscale interior. Lunch is packed in here so you need to get here early for seating. Unlike many Unilocalers, I judge a restaurant as a package, not a dish. I have read the other Unilocal regarding the Phở. I thought the Phở was OK but not amazing as the other Unilocalers have said. That being said, my staff and I usually order the Vermicelli bowls and subs for lunch. I can tell you that they are delicious. The portions are great and the experience is always great. I always order the vermicelli bowl with everything in it. It’s simply delicious, healthy and fast for lunch. My body always thanks me for eating a healthy delicious lunch over a burger lol. The subs are savoury and something to be tried. Each one is very unique and delicious. Everyone’s favourite is the beef satay sub. It’s spicy, crispy scrumptious. One other thing I would like to mention is their bubble teas are very good. I love the tarot and green apple. I think this restaurant will only get better with time and personally think they are a great addition to the 124st restaurants. Welcome to the neighbourhood. :)

Thought I would try this place out as it would be the close place for me to indulge in my phở addiction. I went to the Makk a couple times before which was at this location. Seems like they didn’t change too much. Meaning it still looks nice, but could spell a low budget startup. I decided to pop in and do my usual take out order. Phở tai, salad rolls, and usually papaya salad, but they didnt have that so we did green onion cakes. First thing I noticed it was completely empty on a Wednesday at 630pm. Not a good sign. Ordered and it came out quick. When I got home though I was not very happy. They forgot any sort of sauce with the green onion cakes. They were nice and flaky, but no hot sauce! The salad rolls were pretty good. 3 big ones for $ 6. But really stingy on the peanut sauce. Not very impressed with that, especially for take out because when you get home it’s too late to ask for more. Ok, the phở is where they lost me. As the previous review said, and I should have heeded, the broth was not good. It did taste like they used some sort of heavy Boulion with too much anise. Again, super stingy on the bean sprouts and basil. Not very good, and since that’s really the main reason to come is the phở, I have to say I can’t recommend this place. Hopefully they read this and get the recipe right. I would say head to phở Binh at jasper gates or Doans from here.

Ok I am learning that I have a phở addiction. If I go longer then 2 to 3 days with out it then it’s all I can think about. I thought I’d try this place out since it was close by. Wish I didn’t. The servers were friendly and attentive, but the problem is in the bowl. :(I had the usual beef phở, and the broth is the most important thing for me. Well it tasted comparable to beef cup of soup with the same color and look. The beef was extremely tough so much I didn’t eat it I pushed it aside. The side plate of lemon, thai basil and bean sprouts that came with this was very minimal. i could count maybe 30 bean sprouts the smallest wedge of lemon and 2 leafs of basil. Nothing anyone else had at the table around me looked any better. I will not be revisiting this place.

A group of 6 of us went here last week for lunch, they are still working out the kinks with service, but the food was delicious. Newly renovated, the space is open, bright, and clean. I had the pork vermicelli bowl, it was excellent for the price. Going back today to try a sub and bubble tea:)
