Deluxe is a very rockabilly store with its bowling shirts, platform checkered shoes, and pin-up dresses. This is a style that I really like, but don’t really wear. I would love one of the dresses that they sell here, and someday I intend to get one. They also have some very Mexican wrestling masks, CDs, and purses. I recently fell in love with a vintage-looking red purse that’s displayed in their window. I also really like how they have t-shirts and bags with posters or images from very old horror movies. I think if you’re going to the greaser, 50s, rockabilly, or pin-up look, this is definitely the store for you.

This is a cool little shop just off Whyte that carries a 50’s and 60’s feel to it. It’s not normally my style, but I’m glad I decided to check it out anyway because they have a lot of neat stuff. You can pretty much imagine anything in this store being worn on the set of Grease. They have men’s bowler shirts and women’s sweaters that you wear with poodle skirts(no poodle skirts here though), with brands such as Dickie’s and Lucky 13. Everything is very rock n’ roll, but with a modern touch. They also have a shelf of old and classic rock n’ roll cd’s, Betty Paige pin-ups, and a wide selection of belt buckles. If you’re looking for something to satisfy the rockabilly in you, this is the place!
