I have been here many times and the food is really good. This is coming from a Chinese guy lol. It’s not a fancy place but the food is above average.

Hole in the wall type place but, good freindly service. Lots of parking. Great selection of dishes. Well prepared and very tasty. Particulaly fond of the spicy Kung Pow Chicken and the various Shrimp dishes. Dim Sum pprepared tp order so the food is hot and fresh every time. Hasn’t been sitting on a cart for half an hour. Have been there four times in the last three weeks and it has been consistnetly excellent.

I brought my family here the other day to give them a try after hearing rave reviews from a friend. Unfortunately, we were a little disappointed — in both the blandness and the higher prices than we are accustomed to at Dim Sum. Mind you, most items were only $ 1-$ 2 higher, but it added up to an extra $ 15 or so from our usual dim sum total. The service, however, was excellent and the atmosphere was nice. There was only one other patron who ordered sticky rice to go and were shocked that their to go total for 2 sticky rice was $ 15. The store told them that they were larger than normal sticky rices but the ones we ordered were the same size we are accustomed to elsewhere. The Cilantro Shrimp Dumplings were probably my favorite item. Curried Squid is usually my FAVORITE Dim Sum item but the curry here was bland :-(It was as if they slathered on red curry paste with zero additional seasoning. The Ginger Beef dumplings were disappointing — my hubby was super excited to try these but WHERE was the ginger? And the Lemongrass Chicken was my husband’s favorite but I’m pretty sure it was a $ 8.99 Dim Sum item or close and the portion was good for 2 people but definitely not enough for more. I feel badly giving them 3 stars as they were super friendly but I’ve go to go with my gut and cannot warrant 4 stars as there just isn’t bang for buck here as there should be with Dim Sum. Do I think these people are making a killing and raking in the dough? No, not at all. I am certain it is a small family run business. And usualyl I don’t mind paying an extra $ 10-$ 15 to support someone local and small but the food quality on our visit was not up to par with our usual Dim Sum spot. My personal recommendation for Dim Sum would be Jumbo Dim Sum which is only a few blocks down the street. PS — I uploaded a pics of four of our Dim Sum items: Cilantro Shrimp Dumplings, Curried Squid, Ginger Beef Dumplings, and Lemongrass Chicken.

Friendly staff. Great taste and the prices are just like most other places, but portions seem smaller. Atmosphere was nicer and cleaner than other similar sized restaurants in Chinatown.

I have been going to this place off and on for the last 5 years or so! It is owned by a very nice family and is a place I like to go to with close friends. I go here for the dim sum & I am never disappointed. The place is a very small venue but a nice place to go w/a small group of friends. They do not cart the dim sum items like other dim sum places. You pretty much look @ their picture menu and order what you want. If you ever have questions about what the items are, the servers or owners are happy to answer your questions. The reason I like this place is not just because the food is good but the service is great. Like I said, It is owned by a nice family and all the family members pretty much work there. When I used to go here quite often, they would always comment on the last time they saw me. It was always nice to know that they remember me! I recently went back to eat here and they again commented on the fact that I had not been back there for over a year. I told them that I would definitely be making more of an effort to go back to Dim Sum Delight!

Dim Sum Delight is a small family run restaurant. The servers were fast and friendly, they did everything they could to accommodate us. Since I really had no idea what a lot of the stuff on the menu was, it really helped that they had picture menu’s. I’m sure they anticipated that problem. I really liked the picture menu though, great idea. It allowed us to see what the items looked like and what we thought might be delicious. The servers were great at giving us suggestions too. I haven’t eaten dim sum before so I didn’t really have anything to compare against, but it was good. The price also seemed fair.

Of all the dim sum places in town, Dim Sum Delight is our favourite. No carts, but the food is fresh(not greasy like other places) and the service is excellent. The owners and staff talk to our family all the time and I keep saying more people need to know about this place. We recommend it to everyone. It’s a little hidden, but is definitely worth a visit and a meal!

Dim Sum Delight is the place where I have tried dim sum for the first time. This restaurant is small and discreet. The owners value each and every customer, and try to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The owner herself greeted us, offered a seat and brought us our green tea. Since my dining companion and I were trying dim sum for the first time, she made recommendations in regards to the most popular and tastiest items on the menu. We ended up ordering a lot of food: fried squid in curry sauce(delicious!), shrimp cakes, chicken skewers and four or five varieties of dim sum. The food was fresh, not at all greasy and full of flavour. I was hooked on steamed, airy minced pork dim sum that melted in my mouth right after I tried my first piece. The prices are very reasonable as each order of dim sum includes four pieces. When we were done eating, the owner inquired how everything was, handed us restaurant’s take-out menus and enthusiastically asked us to recommend Dim Sum Delight to our friends. We sure did that.
