Really high pressure sales tactics. We were thinking of buying a membership so went in for a tour. The total cost of a membership was $ 6000; so we wanted a couple days to think about it. They told us that if we didn’t buy the membership that day the price would be $ 8000! Are your friggen kidding me? I refuse to be put under that kind of pressure. We walked out. They are a bunch of con artists.

We have been member for almost 10 years now. We have saved a lot of money and have managed to buy high quality items for reasonable prices. Currently, we are building our second house as members, and we have been able to order kitchen cabinets, plumbing fixtures, flooring, lighting and furniture for 50% discount and more.
The one drawback to being a member is that you must know what you are ordering, therefore, you must be a shopper. You should know your product as returns are very difficult if not impossible. We have had great service from all the staff both in Calgary and Edmonton.

We ordered a Frigidaire refrigerator and oven from Direct Buy, west Edmonton on September 4, 2012. After many excuses and missed arrival dates, the oven finally came in a couple of weeks ago.
It is now December 10, 2012 (over 3 months later) and we are still waiting for the refrigerator and being told each week «we tracked your refrigerator and it will be arriving in a week». We cancelled the order last week and received a phone call that we are unable to return today (funny, Direct Buy is supposed to be closed on Monday) to say, yet again, that the refrigerator will be arriving this week.
The service from this company is abysmal; they are frustrating and deceitful to deal with.
