We were really excited to try this course as the theme seemed really fun. The course is built down what feels like a long hallway which I could see being nice if you have children but it makes the course awkward if it’s busy and your waiting to do a hole as there isn’t a lot of standing room and between holes they don’t have a barricade to keep your ball from rolling into the next lane. There’s a tv at the beginning that says you’re on a quest to collect eggs but no where along the course does this theme continue making that pointless. It is an easier course but still can be fun. There’s two holes that have an elaborate set up that takes your ball in and you get to watch it make its way through and out a random opening. only problem is that often these either aren’t working or it will eat your ball and you have to run to the front to grab a new one holding up everyone else. Overall not the best course in Edmonton but still a decently fun way to kill an hour. Or if its not super busy can be a nice private date night activity

This new glow in the dark mini golf course replaced the old put n’ glow in the WEM — it looks really cool from the outside, unfortunately it’s quite lame on the inside. There were 4 of us(all in our 20’s) and were excited to try it. We left being disappointed. It lacks the fun and challenging factor that the put n’ glow had. The course is not challenging at all and each hole is quite similar to the others. The story line that they are trying to portray does not come across at all and mostly leaves you confused with what the stupid eggs that each wizard or monster has are all about. Overall, dragon tale seems like it wasn’t very well thought out. I will not bother going back and wouldn’t recommend it — too bad put n’ glow is gone.

This is the new black light mini golf attraction in WEM meant to replace the Putt N Glow. When you first step into the course a cut scene is triggered on a flat screen television of a man dressed as a wizard speaking to you of using your«magic staff»(golf club) and«magic stone»(golf ball) to take back the dragon eggs from the angry villagers and ensure the survival of the dragon race! I didn’t really see the point of this as there are no more televisions with further cut scenes along the course to keep you immersed in this fantasy world of fending off angry villagers. The characters and décor of the course seems to share alot of commonalities with the Monster Mini Golf course on Gateway Boulevard which made me wonder if they were designed by the same people. It’s all very cartoonish and none of the dragons or other fairy tale characters are likely to scare little ones making this a good place for the whole family. I didn’t find it a very challenging course due to the fact there are so few hazards and none of the holes were even raised off the green. The thing that really brought the rating down for me came on the 16th hole after my friend shot her ball into a part of the course that was supposed to spit it back out on the other side that instead ate the ball. We went up to the front to mention it to the staff member and all he had to say was«yeah that happens sometimes… sorry». If this happens frequently then why would you not take steps to fix it?! People pay for 18 holes of golf not 16 but I can honestly say after my experience today I will personally not pay for any golf on this course again.

Glow in the dark mini golf located inside West Edmonton Mall by the entrance of Galaxyland, near Guest Services. 18 holes fun for all ages, although each mini course is not as challenging but never alone still a fun time to pass the time with friends..
