I was so impressed the price and the quality were beat out only by the taste. It is a definite future stop for me. Thank you to the staff that have kept this place in complete tip top shape, clean, quick service, and quality food. Thanks for a wonderful experience

I’m a fan of the Fatburger chain, but this is definitely my least favourite location. We arrived at 5:30 on Saturday night. There was one or two groups of people sitting at tables, and no lineup to order. The ordering process was fairly simple. We had a groupon and wanted to upgrade a couple of things. One thing I found annoying though is that each time we ordered something, afterwards she would give us the total and try and get us to pay. 3 times I had to say«no, we’re not done yet». Once we ordered. We waited. And waited. Quite a few people came in after we ordered and they started to get busy, but I didn’t think that would affect the speed at which our food came out… since the order was in before they came in the door. At this point, I would say that the wait was excessive. For 2 burgers, a fry, and a poutine the wait was 20 minutes. I always order Fatburger to go, and I know that sometimes that means the bun gets a little soggy by the time you get home. But this time my bun had a large wet spot on one side and was breaking down the middle(I decide to cut my losses and cut the burger in half before i tried to eat it). The flavours were just okay. Not as good as I’ve experienced at the southside locations. Also, the fries were just sitting in a paper boat in the takeout bag on top of the two burgers. They weren’t wrapped up at all… so ¾s of them were scattered around the bag and all of them were ice cold.

Pretty good and they have a great selection of dressings/toppings for the patties. To be honest though I thought they were much better when they first came to Edmonton. They taste like standard burgers now like you could get anywhere…

Pretty decent burgers & fries, also pretty good chicken tenders. The milkshakes are not bad. Not the quickest service or cheapest place to get burgers but a good choice when you need a burger and shake.

My boyfriend introduced me to fat burger. Yeah it’s a little on the expensive side compared to most fast food joints, but I feel it’s worth the money. The burgers are big and filling and you get a good amount of fries or onion rings. I like the fact I can pick my toppings for my burger for I am I picky eater. The atmosphere feels like a diner. The staff are nice and patient. If you eat in they bring the food to you. All in all it’s a good place to go

Great kids meals. My son loves the kids meals. Comes with a decent portion of food for a great price. He can get a customized cheeseburger with rings and a tiny milkshake for $ 7. Pretty affordable for a greasy treat. Personally the burgers are overly greasy but I do commend them on their onion rings and milkshakes. I always sneak a ring when my sons not looking. Lol

Highly overpriced, and bland food. I would never return nor would I ever recommended this burger place to anybody I knew.

I’m not even sure where to start with this review… mainly, because nothing really stood out for me. The atmosphere was kind of fun, but the burgers were forgettable. They are huge too — I couldn’t finish the one I had and I found it overwhelmingly greasy to the point that I felt yucky for quite some time. The fries, however, were excellent. I know that lots of people love this place — more power to you but it isn’t for me.

I have only been to Fat burger once and probably won’t be returning anytime soon. First off — do NOT go with your family. When I visited this store, I took my family because we all wanted to experince it together. We ordered a burger and comob for each of us and I was floored when the girl behind the counter said the bill was over $ 60 … $ 60 for 4 burgers and combo’s!!! We would have been better off going somwhere like Moxie’s or Tony Roma’s for THAT price. Second — a quick visit to the bathroom and the place was disgusting! It was like no one had cleaned arounf the bathroom in days. Toliet paper everywhere, water on counters and floor, and urine on the floor around one of the toilets. Even my youngest son was disgusted and he’s not even a teen yet! Lastly — about an hour after eating … we were all sick to our stoamchs. It felt we all had eating a big tub of lard and nothing was sitting well with any of us. Am I going back? Hells NO

This is a solid burger joint — it ain’t the Motoraunt, but then, nothing in town is… The burgers are very good, with a variety of toppings and sides. I find the double Fat Burger to be too much meat — yes there can be too much of good thing. As Sheldon on the Big Bang Theory once said, «it’s all about the meat to bun ratio.» The fries are pretty good, though I’m not sure if they are fresh cut or frozen. The disappointing menu item was the onion rings, which I found to be rather bland. Then again, they do have several spices and toppings on the table — but those are no help if you get take-out like. It was really nice that after ordering, staff bring your order to your table, so there is no need to stand at the front like most burger places. Probably the best thing about Fatburger is the milkshakes, which are made from real ice cream, not soft serve like most places. They have half a dozen or so on the menu, plus one additional milkshake-du-jour. If you’re looking for an upscale burger — with an upscale price — then Fatburger won’t disappoint.

Burger itself good — but not worth going out of your way for. A friend and I checked out the new Fatburger for supper on a weeknight and it was pretty busy. The line moves quickly as it seems a lot of people are ordering for take-out. The restaurant itself is pretty small inside so if you go during a really busy time you may not get a seat. I had a burger, fries, and milkshake. The burger patty itself was juicy and flavourful. One interesting thing was their cheese melted on, but did not slide off(like so many other places), which was great. The toppings on the burger were OK, nothing that you wouldn’t get anywhere else it seems. The regular fries are quite a large serving for one person, however the fries are very bland with no seasoning or anything. My friend had the onion rings and he said they rank amongst the worst he has had. The milkshake consistency was very thin, so if you like a thick milkshake this might not be the place for you. Overall I think the burger was good, the fries were horrible and the milkshake was just OK. With the proliferation of burger-only joints popping up all over the city(and Rodeo Burger a block away) it would seem that a place like Fatburger might have to make some changes to keep customers coming back after the initial«new restaurant fad» wears off. Fatburger doesn’t compare to many local pubs(Druid, etc.) or even Delux Burger Bar, yet the prices are somewhat close.

Fatburger good food great to visit old friends & relax– Edmonton 97th St. Feb 21 met on old friend for lunch, had the King Burger combo(loaded with fries & Coke Zero). The burger was great the fries looked to be fresh cut not sure if they are? Burger was not that greasy and fries were not dry like a lot of burger joints. After you order staff brings your old order to your table so this keeps counter clear even when busy. Would I go back? U-BETCHA. I also have visited the store on The Strip in Las Vegas, same experience. Staff friendliness 5 out of 10, service was good about 10″ wait after order in during lunch rush.

This is a new location for Fatburger. This diner-like burger joint is a fresh addition to north Edmonton. Upon looking at the menu, this was not cheapest burger place there is. Most burgers were about $ 6.50, with more specialty burgers ranging toward $ 8. The service is pretty unique here. Once you place your order at the counter, they give a bright yellow sign, with your order number on it, to put on your table. Once your burgers are ready, the waitresses will bring it to your table, wherever you chose to seat yourself. My boyfriend tried the Original Fatburger, which was not the best burger he’s ever had. He said it was good, but not $ 6.50 good. I tried the Mushroom Swiss Burger, and we both decided that it was delicious! The patty was not the best that I’ve ever had(not super juicy, but that can mean leaner/healthier), but everything else inside made it awesome. They certainly don’t go cheap on the mushrooms. There was enough to cover the entire patty and were generous slices. The cheese on it is what made the burger worth $ 8 for me. It was melted well and maintained it’s soft texture, even after the burger cooled — definitely not processed Kraft slices. Along with our burgers, we chose to share an Oreo shake. Their menu was bragging that they had the best ice cream shakes. When we first tried it… MYGOSH… it was the THICKEST shake we’ve ever had. It tasted amazing! It was like a finely blended Oreo Mcflurry, made with lots of real ice cream and Oreos. I will definitely be back for their Mushroom Swiss Burger and their shakes! As a side note, I would also be back to try their poutines. It was too late to try this time, as I spied their banner after we had ordered.
