Grab & Go offers healthy food options should you ever find yourself needing a bite to eat while visiting the Expo Centre. I grabbed food from here while working the comic expo at the end of September and I found it to be a mostly pleasant experience. The lady working the cash register was really friendly despite the fact they were fairly busy due to being the first food establishment open that day. I got a marinated veggie salad, cookie, and bottle of coke for about $ 10.00. The salad was actually quite delicious and was a pleasant surprise as I honestly didn’t have that high of expectations and was just looking for quick food so I could get back to work. The cookie however had a nice flavor but was admittedly a bit stale. I found that to be disappointing as I felt it was too early in the day for stale baked goods which made me think it must have come from one or even two days prior. If it had been just a local eatery versus inside the expo centre I would probably also fault them for charging too much for smaller portion sizes but I know you can always expect to pay more when getting food there or over at Rexall. Would I eat here again? Possibly if I wanted something light and healthy but I did find for working almost 10 hours that day the food from Grab & Go didn’t leave me feeling full as long as I would have liked and I had honestly wished I had spent a few dollars extra and ordered from Monster Burger.
