Have enjoyed hookah here many times before but won’t be coming back for the food anytime soon. Myself, along with two other friends experienced violent food poisoning after eating here. Spending the day bed ridden/vomiting was not worth the chicken donair I actually enjoyed in the moment.

A place I have walked past hundreds of times while on Whyte, and finally stopped in to the other evening to grab a chicken donair for take-out to my favourite bar a couple of doors down. The place is large, spacious, and obviously the hookah is the main attraction. But the food menu is full of Middle Eastern and Western choices, at reasonable prices. My chicken donair cost slightly more than advertised on the menu, but it was still fine. The tender pieces of chicken were not as robustly flavourful as I have had elsewhere — perhaps it is not marinated to the same extent — but there was lots of it, gleaning much of its flavour from the pickles and mild garlic sauce. I would definitely come here again if for no other reason than convenience and solid food that is easy to handle after a few drinks.

After purchasing hookah at this establishment I was kicked out because after spending 30 minutes of my time enjoying myself when asked for ID I willingly showed my out of state ID. The security refused to accept it demanding to see a passport which I do not carry around in my pocket due to obvious security and safety reasons. I do not understand why I would be asked to leave after I had shown age-valid identification as well as paid for my hookah. If they require ID shouldn’t it be asked for immediately? Would not recommend due to the rude staff as well as the inappropriate language used by the security and owner. Do not waste your time here, after spending enough time you’ll find a better hookah lounge, close by I’d honestly recommend Casablanca due to the sheer amount of better flavors as well as better staff.

What an interesting place with a fun crowd and some great food to top it all off! I’m hooked or should I say Hookah’d. I had walked by here so many times and dropped in to check out the menu, I had seen the food potions were reasonable but never ordered until recently. It was after 7 pm, and there were over 20 people just in the main restaurant area, five tables all were using hookahs, I ordered the 21.00 mixed meat combo plate with a variety of meats and rice with a salad. The kitchen was busy putting out food orders so I had to wait my turn, after less than 15 minutes I received a plate of meat containing beef cubes, chicken cubes, chunks of donair meat, a lamb chop and a couple other pieces of meat items which were rolled into a cigar shape. It was very tasty and well worth the prices being charged, there were also some big screens to watch various shows, and a lot of patrons drinking tea and just chatting. It was a friendly, tasty and unique experience. As I walked out the back there was a another huge group of hipsters enjoying hookah’s and chatting it was great to see so many people enjoying each others company. This is one of the most interesting experiences I have had in a while, I enjoyed everything and just regret I waited this long. I hope they keep up the unique spaces and tasty food. You can also order a bottle of beer to wash down that donair or kabob. Total bill with huge plate of food, one bottle of beer and tip was 30 bucks, and considering I didn’t have to get on an airplane and go somewhere to experience this you better check this place out. It wont disappoint.

Food here is excellent. Freshly prepared and well portioned dishes. This place would get a 4-star review had it had a better order counter. The person we spoke to couldn’t understand us and we couldn’t understand her(language barrier). Dining area needed a good scrubbing. I saw potting soil from a hung plant on the ground, dirt that looks like it had been there for weeks, etc.

This place has amazing food, their hookah needs some work but overall nice place/atmosphere. If you go there Friday nights/Saturday nights all they serve is bar food like donairs etc. so go there during regular business hours and try their full menu, highly recommend the mixed grill plate
