I was at WEM and thought I would pop in quickly for a couple items to replenish my stock. As I was looking for bath bombs, I told the girl I was also looking for a large tub of a cleanser. She said she would get it ready for me at the front. Returned, and said I can pick it up there when I was ready with my bath bombs. The girls at the register had no clue what I was talking about and that they would need to fill a jar for me. My bath bombs were bagged, my other items were bagged; meanwhile, the girl preparing my cleanser hadn’t even opened it, yet… and then was asking me how much i wanted… I don’t know the measurement… just fill the jar and let me get out of this madness called Christmas Rush… she started asking me more… and I just walked away… got in my car… and drove to the Whyte Ave location. aaaaawwww zen. Product was packaged, bought a couple extra items because the store was not over filled with extra staff standing in the way of an already small store that was filled with customers. Go to the bigger and more competent stores like Whyte or Kingsway!

Excellent products, knowledgeable staff that weren’t pushy at all. Absolute top company that is 100% cruelty free! Natural products that really work! Can’t really ask for more out of a company than you get out of Lush! Was happy to replenish my Gorgeous cream and my Veganese conditioner and am looking forward to using my new Ultrabland facial cleanser!

The staff here are always ready to help the second I walk in. It’s the main reason I return regularly. Very personable and always willing to show me what is new and what will work for my specific needs.

What a fun store! I was sent there by a recommendation from a friend after she had used one of their bath bombs and she was absolutely delighted by the product. I did some research online and found some products I was interested in and made a shopping trip in to see if they measured up. I was greeted by a very friendly(and patient) staff member who went through my list and she demonstrated each item and was very knowledgeable about everything I asked about. One product was not in stock and she searched high and low until she actually found one for me. What wonderful customer service! The store is bright and clean, products are easy to locate and readily available to sniff and touch. Staff is available to help but not ‘in your face’ hovering. It was a very enjoyable and fun experience. They have gift boxes available in all price ranges and products for men and women. So guys. Don’t be put off by all the girlie colors and stuff. There is a guy section too! I highly recommend this little store. What a gem of a find!

LUSH is a great stop for a treat for yourself or any girl in your life — Animal/Cruelty free products with an eco friendly vibe. Minimal packaging and loads of items made fresh weekly(word to the wise, give a gift card or buy a day or two before gifting because some items like the face masks have to be refrigerated and expire 30 days after purchase). Don’t be shy to ask for demos or samples of things to make sure you find the product that is right for you. I appreciate that I never feel pressured by the staff to buy anything and always feel that they are able to answer any questions I may have. I do find the price point a bit high so I end up sticking with companies like Bath and Body Works for my day to day purchases even though I’d prefer the products here. It’d be nice if they had a weekly sale or at least it seems I never pop in when there’s a sale. While I don’t mind letting my husband steal some of my philosophy products from Sephora I don’t want him using up half of one of my face washes in one fell swoop! Portions are small and prices are high — so plan accordingly to what’s worth the bang for your buck :-) With names like chocolate cupcake for face masks, you may want to have a bite to eat before popping in or you’re tummy will be growling in no time at all! See you soon Lush :-)

This Lush is a favorite store for me, I feel right at home when I go in. The staff often remember me, and always offer to try things on my arm, if I’m interested in a product. It’s a little mini relaxation treatment during my day. There are nice gift sets here. I also really like the lack of packaging(environmentally friendly), which does cause the store to smell quite strong. Some people dislike this, but I like the scent of Lush products, so it doesn’t bother me. I have used shampoo bars, body scrubs, face masks, bath bombs, bubble bars, soap, and deodorant from here. Their natural deodorants have helped my sensitive skin so much. I love all their products, with a passion.

Really enjoy going to THIS lush store! The staff is always very helpful, really nice and know a lot about what their selling. I have questions, they got answers. By far my favourite products are the Dark Angels scrub, New shampoo bar, and the Brazened honey face mask. All in all, all the lush stores in Edmonton carry all the same amazing stuff, but I go here for the great staff

I love LUSH. I love their packaging, I love their products, and I love their attitude. I recently splurged on a whole bunch of skin care products, and my skin has never looked better. I’m using Ultrabland as a makeup remover, Angels On Bareskin as my facial cleanser, Eau Roma toner, Imperialis or Vanishing Cream moisturizer(I alternate), Jackie Oates and the translucent powder(I forget the name). It has really helped my hormonal acne. I also on numerous shampoos, body washes, conditioners, and bath bombs. Totally worth the price. The ONLY con is that sometimes the sales associates can be pushy when I just want to shop in peace. Having worked in retail, I know they’re only doing it to be helpful and I politely tell them I don’t need help. They’re just doing their jobs and that’s fine by me :) No stars deducted for friendly customer service, as I’m sure other people find the SA’s to be helpful.

I used to live near Whyte Avenue and was constantly contemplating a trip inside the store there but was always put off by the overwhelming smell that seemed to reach out all the way to the street. I was in the new larger West Ed location yesterday near the HMV though and they seemed to have dealt with alot of that issue. The smells of their products are still different from what I am used to but I take solace in the fact that most of this is due to them not using the same chemicals other stores do to achieve more traditional smells. The staff member working was very attentive and was kind enough to demo a few things for me. Not once did I feel pressured to buy something and the items she showed me ranged in price from $ 4.50-$ 16.00. I really appreciated that she was not trying to lead me to only the most expensive items available. I really recommend their lip tint, it is a bit smaller then the lip pots at The Body Shop but they offer bolder colors and the texture is really nice and light. Really the only thing that keeps this from being a five star review is the smell. It’s not over powering in the store itself but I had put my bag in my purse and a day later I can still smell the foot scrub that I purchased and im now reluctant to bring the purse with me on ETS as I know some people have stomach and allergy issues from strong smells. Like all things in life different people like different things and I think Lush is a place worth trying at least once.

Lush has some amazing products and they have greatly helped with my skin problems. I have found Ultrabland to be my favourite and it has been a great help to reduce my redness and balance out my overall skin tone. There are a few products from here that are staples for my beauty régime now and will continue to be. My only real problem with Lush is that the staff can be a bit too pushy and tend to talk down to customers. I find this makes me just want to grab my stuff and go rather than look around and try new stuff. This won’t stop me from returning as I have found some amazing products that have helped with my skin… but I tend to avoid dealing with the staff as much as possible as they tend to put me off with their approach.

I don’t really like Lush. I know that everyone in the world might disagree with me but I don’t like it. First of all, the smell of Lush stores is atrocious. It’s like the worst soap combined with the perfume you have ever smelled. That’s Lush. I don’t know how anyone can stand it! I had to hold my breath when I went in. I can’t imagine how the staff smell at the end of the day. I will admit that they have some cool products but I would never be able to hold my breath long enough to buy any! I find the staff to be knowledgeable but at the same time, they have a bit of an attitude. They come across as believing that Lush is the gold standard of cosmetics and soaps. But it’s not. I wouldn’t recommend Lush to anyone I know. At least not anyone with a sense of smell.
