In a town where a seven course meal is a possum and a six pack, this place is not bad. The food is kind of bland but you get a large amount of dead animal and the taste is good though the goat meat can smell at times and you have to cut out the fat. The food is not east african, but mostly somalian and they don’t even serve camel meat on hump day. The portions are large enough for a good bowel distention and the service is great. You also get delicious soup and mango juice. If you dont feel like cooking and want a full stomach, it’s a good stop to make. Parking is ample and the clientele are quite civil for a town in which«Loading the dishwasher» means getting your wife drunk.

Very authentic Somali cuisine, had the vegetarian plate. The price was a bit high but the complimentary bananas with hot sauce were a nice touch! The staff were very helpful, especially since we’d never eaten Somali food before.

A friendly place in Canada for some great east african cuisine! Food comes as a set meal– you get a juice, Somali style rice, pasta or flat bread), soup, one kind of meat(beef, chicken or goat) and a banana which is served with every Somali dish. I had the goat on my first visit and the beef on my second visit and the food was absolutely amazing, the rice was the best I’ve ever experienced with flavors I couldn’t pin point. This was my first time trying Somali food and now im craving it but cant find in Florida hopefully i can find a east African restaurant just as good when I visit Atlanta.
