When my husband and I were looking for a wedding photographer, we never knew that we would also gain a family and work with them for the next 6 years. They have now become our go to photographer for all our life events. Paul captured our love story from engagement, wedding, maternity, newborn and most recently the baptism of our baby boy. We also had our family cats included in the photoshoots. What I love about working with Paul is the«anything is possible» attitude. Just to name a few places, our photoshoots were shot in the studio, parks, mall, downtown, church or wherever we wanted. We also became travel buddies as he met up with us to take our photos in Banff, Vancouver and Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. Whatever you have on your mind, Paul makes it happen and brings it one step further. He is creative and his work always amazes me. When it came time to view our photos, Naz takes care of everything for you. From photo viewing to the final print, she is detailed and has a knack for color and designs. Although we have never worked with Rob, we are always chatting up a storm when we run into him. His budoir photography is amazing. One day, we may have the courage to get some done. Teehee! The Mcmaster photographers family is one of the most warmest people you will ever meet. They are professional from start to finish. I recommend them for any life occasion. Thank you guys for capturing our story.

I had two shoots with them, one being my maternity shoot and about a week later a newborn shoot. First I would like to say, had I seen my maternity pictures first, I would not have hired them for my newborn shoot. The maternity pictures were nothing but maybe average. The lighting wasn’t great and Rob the photographer did not have any ideas or props for the shoot. Apparently its the clients job to know exactly what they should do during the session and bring items with them to ensure that the photos have some pizazz. My newborn shoot was in the middle of November and because during my maternity shoot the studio was cold, I had a conversation with Rob and he assured me that the room would be above temperature, so my baby would be comfortable. The day of the shoot we arrived, only for me to find out that he had just turned on the heat and we had a limited time for the shoot as he had another session booked less than an hour later. Needless to day the room was FREEZING! The room was so cold that my daughter cried the entire time that she was undressed. I had to cut out half the pictures I was hoping for because she would only calm down when I dressed her up again. The entire shoot was a disaster and the pictures I that were taken were not at all what I had hoped for. Considering I booked a supposed high end photography company for the shoot, I expected some amazing photos that I would cherish forever. Needless to say, the photos did not live up to even half of my expectations. There wasn’t much I could do either. She would never be 3 days old again and I would never be pregnant with her again. Even with all my disappointment I purchased the negatives. I would at least be able to remember her that small and if the grandparents wanted pictures I could email them. I paid $ 400 extra on top of the session fee and the 2 pictures that I had printed. The total for this fiasco was approximately $ 600.00 for less than average pictures. 2 years later, I had my small fireproof safe stolen out of my bedroom. The safe contained all the digital copies of pictures from the time my daughter was born until now. I called them to see if they could replace the CD and Rob phoned me back and told be it would be $ 350.00PERSESSION a total of $ 700.00 for a CD that I had already paid $ 400. Notice that there is a $ 300.00 difference in the price I had paid in the first place. When I asked about the price increase, he said that price was from 2 years ago and that the price had gone up. Apparently in two years there has been almost 80% inflation in the CD market. My advice is: Before you make any decisions for a photographer. Make sure you read reviews not only on the company but the photographer as well. Also review the pictures on the camera before you leave, or you will be stuck with a bunch of garbage like I was.

The fiancé «won» a free photo(shoot) at the bridal show last year. We already had engagement photos done, but she wanted family photos done with our pooch. Our experience was lack-luster. The photographer is a gruff guy who doesn’t seem to care. The photography session was slow. It took a long time to even get in to review the photos. And the photos themselves are nothing special. Since they’re just family photos, I don’t care too much. But I wouldn’t recommend them for regular photos since they’re so expensive. And I wouldn’t recommend them for weddings based on their portfolio.

I had my passport photo done here, great price and it only took a few minutes. The photo was accepted without issue by the passport office.
