I realize that this«update» is long overdue, however, to be fair I wanted to write this so at least, you, kind reader, know what happened… in the end. The company finally did write me back, about 3 months later… yes, I ran across the letter in the last few weeks as I am did a «yearly purge» of paperwork. In short, the company wrote me back indicating that«we had staffing changes» that affected my order, however, this is where they stop in taking ANY more responsibility in the tardiness of the installation of our countertops choosing to lay blame on our contractor and to go as far as writing me to tell me that our contractor didn’t pay them until much later… what Monarch failed to try to think is that it was ME who told my contractor to hold the payment until they were willing to make things right, which they never did in the way was required. Ultimately, no, my opinion has not changed… I will NEVER recommend this company to anyone.
