I’ve had Nerds 2 You out several times. And each time they’ve been able to figure out what’s wrong and fix it. I wish my computer would never have problems. But when it does I know they can fix it. I say«they» but it’s actually only one. His name is Claudio and is a fantastic computer fixer. Pros: You don’t have to bring in your computer, wait for an appointment, drop it off and then wait for them to try and fix it, and then pick it up. Most of the time Claudio fixes it in one trip. (And he even has spare parts on him. So it’s usually not«Oh…you need a new power supply. I’ll have to go buy one») If you’re considering Geeksquad. Don’t. This guy will fix it before you even get through the BestBuy Call tree.

I appreciate the fact that Claudio came to my home, which was very convenient for me. As well, he did in fact fix my computer at a reasonable price, which is why I am giving 2 stars. However, the thing that was lacking was any resemblance of customer service. From the moment Claudio walked into my home, he made no attempt at friendliness. During the 2 hours he was here, he was rude and constantly talked down to me like I was a complete idiot. I admit I am not a computer expert, if I was I wouldn’t be paying for him to fix my computer, but you don’t have to talk to me like I am stupid, because I am not. Since I value the customer service aspect of business over the actual service provided, I would not recommend his service. All it would take is for Claudio to treat people in a friendly and accommodating way, explaining rather than talking down to me to get a better rating. In response to Claudio’s response: My experience had nothing to do with a «personality clash». The only experience you had of my personality was when I welcomed you into my home. Maybe you were having a bad day, but you were in fact rude the entire time you were here. The only time you spoke to me was when you asked me a question about my computer in a condescending way. There was no friendly conversation. My adult daughter was in the house and witnessed every exchange and she was shocked by your appalling attitude. Might I also say, that you did not completely fix my computer. Since your visit, I have had to completely wipe my computer clean and re-install everything to get it working properly. As well, even though you told me all the hardware was working properly, it is not. The video card is malfunctioning and needs replacing. So again, maybe you were just having a bad day but to say your are very friendly and outgoing is certainly untrue based on my experience.

Called for service, was hung up on twice. When I finally got a hold of someone, they asked me to diagnose my computer myself and call back. They have no office and I can’t drop anything off for service. They suggested I take it back to where I bought it if I want that level of service.

It IS as good as it gets when I use Nerds 2 You’s services. My computer always ends up fixed, problems solved and I know I can count on the reliable expertise of the Nerds 2 You team for going above and beyond the call of duty and future proofing my home PC laptop and more by offering me relevant services(love the new back up service!) and at reasonable prices. I would highly recommend Nerds 2 You!
