I went in here to pawn my guitar. It’s a decent guitar, acoustic with a built in preamp. A fender. I also have a hard case, and extra strings. I asked them for 180(get paid next week). That said pawn shops only offer 10 percent of what it’s worth. I know this to be untrue, my friend who works at a pawn shop says they’ll do up to 40 percent. Here’s the stats: guitar, no scratches, perfect condition. Brand new = 300 Case = 100 brand new. Extra strings = 25 brand new. They refused to even barter with me. They said. $ 40 is final.

I paid $ 75.00 for a $ 150.00 groupon with the intension of buying a guitar for my boyfriends birthday. On the website, it appears they have a whole wall of guitars, but upon arrival I was slightly disappointed to see a tiny area with maybe 15 guitars to choose from. For the price of 150.00 I managed to pick out a guitar and a tuner. The man working asked how I’d be paying long before I got to the cash, then informed me that«you can only purchase one item with the groupon, it’s written on the site.» Later, when I checked the site to read the fine print, it said no such thing, and on the contrary, said it could be used for«blue ray discs»(plural) The whole experience was annoying, and on top of that, after my transaction was complete, he kept my guitar behind the cash and asked to photocopy my ID for their records before handing it over. I’ve used many groupons before, and have never been asked for a photocopy of my ID. I will never go back.
