Last sunday night I ordered tge holiday helper. The pizza from here is decent, pretty much the same every time. I live on base and always order from here. If the service is generally consistent I easily over look occasional issues. However, my last time ordering from pizza 73 the delivery driver mistakenly charged me the incorrect amount. He had missed a number and ended up charging me 5 $ and some change(including tip). I hadn’t noticed and did not get a reciept. About 6 and a half hours later, close to 11 pm, I got a call from the driver. He advised me of the mistake and asked to come by and collect the rest of the money owed. I told him i had no problem arranging a time to pay it but i was unfortunately not home at that time. I asked if he could call back the following day. He instead, showed up at my house close to midnight that same night and rang my door bell waking my family and dog, by the time i got to the door i saw him leaving and he proceeded to send me text messages. The next morning I got a nasty message from the company’s customer service treating me like i was trying to avoid payment. I arranged through customer service to have the driver come by after 5 pm one day when I was going to be home after work. He didn’t show up until 7 pm the day after that. Aftet I was called and bothered and text in the middle of the night, had a ‘stern’ phone call from customer service, and went out of my way to make myself available for HIS mistake, he couldn’t bother to show up until whenever he felt like it, which was when I wasn’t home and my boyfriend paid him. I think the whole situation was completely unprofessional and I did not appreciate being treated like a jerk over the delivery drivers mistake, though i had absolutely no issue paying the proper amount and had even arranged times that were acceptable for the driver to come by.
