Under new ownership and it shows. Went at lunchtime and there were only 2 people ahead of us and it took 20 minutes k get donair and fries. Food was average.

I could hardly say with confidence that their donairs are truly the«best in the west» as the the lettering underneath their front door audaciously claims. HOWEVER! If you are looking for quick, hot meal that is reasonably priced. This is you’re place I haven’t had their burgers or anything else that they have on the menus. Naturally as they are«quick donair» I had the donair lol. They didn’t have a huge selection of veggies and other toppings but they did have mushrooms!(Which in my opinion is essential to the donair!) Even though they are not the«best in the west» I will say that they don’t skimp on the meat and toppings,(which is an issue at some places in the city it seems) All around good food! Not amazing, but reasonably priced, made quickly and served with a smile.

First visit, stopped in for a bite after my daughter’s basketball game. Had a Super donair, a cheese donair and one order of onion rings to share. About 7pm on a Wednesday night. VERY fast service, very clean front end and washroom. the owner was friendly. Donair were both good, pita and toppings were fresh, onion rings were perfect. Prices were on the low side of average. Price, service, cleanliness and attitude of the owner earned 5 stars tonight. We will return of the opportunity presents itself.

Popped into Quick Donair with a coworker the other day on our lunch break. Unfortunately, the chicken donair wasn’t going to be ready for almost an hour and my friend cannot eat beef for religious reasons. So she opted for wings which were flavoured nicely but she told me later that a couple of them were underdone and she had to throw them away :-(Yikes! I ordered the cheese donair for $ 6.50. The olives had an overly canned taste and meat tasted rather bland(underseasoned for sure). I’m sad because the place was bright, clean, and the lady behind the counter was friendly but the food just didn’t cut the mustard. Unfortunately, I can say I wouldn’t recommend a stop at Quick Donair based on the quality/flavour of the food and my friend’s chicken being undercooked.

Run by a lovely fella and his harried wife, Quick Donair is a good spot to stop by if you’re in the mood for a donair. The high volume of traffic that this place sees over a lunch hour is a testament to the the value for money proposition offered by this restaurant. Recommended if you’re up for a grease feast and you happen to find yourself in the area. The establishment offers halal food if that kind of thing is important to you.
