It was close to 7:30 on a weeknight and since they close at 8, one staff was mopping the floor and the other was cleaning up. I like the toasted subs so I’ve never been disappointed with one from Quiznos. The staff finished up and washed their hands and asked what we would like. I decided on the 9 inch mesquite sub with chicken, lettuce, tomato, onion, cheese, bacon and ranch dressing. With groupon in hand, I had to pay 60 cents for the tax and we took our meal to go. I was disappointed with the sub. The bun wasn’t nice and toasty and a little bit soft likely from too much ranch dressing they put in. I should have asked light on the dressing as I don’t like too much sauce on my subs. I won’t get this sub next time. Still a decent location and service so it wouldn’t prevent me from going another time.

The service at this location is what gives it five stars in my book. Always friendly, sincere and willing to help if you have questions about the menu, it feels like they actually give a crap about their customers. As for the food, Quiznos in General is my favourite chain sandwich shop. The beef dip is to die for. Honestly, hot and toasty is better. I do like that they’re trying to add fresh veg to the menu, but they should give you the option of having it added before or after it goes through the grill, not just after. Whenever I’m in this area, this is always my stop for lunch.

Toasted really does taste better. I originally fell in love with Quizno’s with their $ 5 deal for any foot long sub. Unfortunately after a few years this deal vanish, came back for a while, and now is gone again. What happened? I have also noticed they’ve been constantly adding new menu items… and not for the better as their new subs are far from cheap. Regardless, I prefer Quizno’s subs over other sandwich places due to the amount of meat and toppings they pack into their subs– they certainly don’t skimp on anything. One of my favorite selections was their ‘Turkey Ranch & Swiss’- the ranch and turkey combination was a delight for my taste-buds! I this location as it means there are more Quizno’s places to choose from on the west side. This location is rarely busy so you can usually find somewhere to sit. Their subs are generously packed that you can make it a full meal, if you choose. If only their prices would be brought down…
