Regular place for me to go grab milk and breakfast cereals. They have got almost everything like shoppers drug mart. This location is really great because they have a free 2 hour parking spot and located besides a Starbucks . No post office is a drawback. They have BMOATM and pharmacy, which is cool . If you get a free parking on a busy Jasper ave, why not to go to this place ? More over this place is neat and they take Aeroplan.

This review is specifically related to the pharmacy services. I get my prescription filled here because it’s reasonably close to home and I can earn Aeroplan points. You can call and refill your prescription over the phone to pick-up later, to avoid having to wait for them to fill the prescription right there. However — I ALWAYS have to wait when I go to pick up my prescription, even when I’ve called in advance. It’s really annoying because it’ seems like they constantly ignore the customers who are obviously waiting to pick up and pay for something. I know I’m not the only one who experiences this as I am frequently in line with others. They won’t even make eye contact with you. I understand that pharmacists need to pay attention to what they are doing, and to be fair, the pharmacists themselves are very nice and helpful once you can get their attention. But I just don’t get the total lack of customer service — even a quick, «someone will be right with you, it won’t be long!» would be helpful.

I like this location of Rexall. Their prices are comparable with other drugstores, and they’ve often got good sales on. They have a large cosmetics section and a reasonable selection of groceries. I think my favourite thing about this location is the super steep discounts on leftover chocolates and candy after a holiday.

I like Rexall drugstores, but I don’t go here very often. I find that the prices are competitive with other drug stores, like shoppers drug mart and they have standard products here as well. They also have their own brand and most of the products are pretty good quality. They sell food for pretty cheap, and this location has a large selection of food and snack goodies. My boyfriend always wants me to shop here because the money goes towards Oiler’s owner Daryl Katz and he somehow sees that as supporting our Oilers and being patriotic, but really, we are just making Mr. Katz richer. I shop at Shopper more because at least there I can earn points which will eventually lead to free stuff. If Rexall had a point program that was better than Shoppers I may think about changing over, but definitely not unless I could get free stuff from Rexall like I can at Shoppers.

Rexall is a large drug store located on Jasper Avenue. It has been built recently, and already it is a popular shopping spot among locals thanks to its convenient location. The selection of products at Rexall is impressive. There is a wonderful high end cosmetics section where you can find such brands as Elizabeth Arden and Biotherm. You can always sample the products before buying. The isles are filled with shelves full of skin and hair care products. The pharmacy is also stocked nicely. Rexall has its own brand of products which are cheaper and work just as well as brand name ones. For me, Rexall is a great place to be when I am looking for a specific product I can’t find at London Drugs or Shoppers Drug Mart. All three stores carry similar selection which varies slightly. For example, recently I was searching for J R Watkins aloe and green tea body wash, and after running around all over Edmonton drug stores, I found it at Rexall. Customer service is always great.

I’m a Shopper’s Drug Mart girl. I’ve always mailed my letters, gotten my prescriptions, bought my Tampax and throat lozenges and the red, white and blue drug store of my childhood. So I was a little stand-offish about Rexall mega-drug stores when they moved in. But I have to admit, I like the one I’ve been in on Jasper more than one occasion. I feel like I’m in a department store when I’m there. Everything’s so bright and shiny, and there’s a huge selection of items with aisles twice and long and plentiful as many Shopper’s. I feel my loyalty slipping… They have a huge cosmetics department, and a lot of higher quality products than your typical drug store brands. I’ve spent way longer than I want to admit looking at cosmetics here, and their junk food selection is way too good. Service is fast and friendly. They have everything that Shopper’s has, and more, in some cases, than the older, smaller Shopper’s stores –like the one a mere four small blocks away.

Rexall reminds me of a Shoppers Drug Mart. They both sell pretty much the same stuff, like cosmetics(both lower and higher end), food, toiletries, greetings cards, magazines, and medications. The prices are about the same too, and they both have good sales. Today, I found some noodle soup that I like on sale for 69 cents, and it’s usually $ 1.49. I also found a makeup line here called Red Earth. I have never seen it before, but it looked rather interesting. The eyeshadow had some very cool colours(like sparkling blue), and I found an excellent powder brush that was very soft. I like how Rexall has their cashiers all at the front counter. It seems rather open and friendly, for some reason. They have free calendars here too with coupons inside.
