Well round two did not go so well. I always believe in second chances so yesterday morning I gave it a shot. Well the hostess/waitress sat me fast and was quick with my coffee and friendly as well. My waitress was nice and I decided to order the steak and eggs. Now I must say that I have not had a lot of luck with steak at Rickys over the years with the exception of the south common location. Unfortunately what was brought out to me failed in a few ways. 1) End piece of meat. Not as tender and harder to make it medium rare but above all just not a tender cut 2) Over cooked. In fact the searing on it was as touch as the bench I was sitting on and made a lot of noise as I poked it lol. Just horrible and usually I tough it out and just finish it but only two bites of nasty and I was done. It took while to get my server to ask me how my meal was but when she did I politely relayed how disappointed I was. She offered to replace it but I was already defiled. However I was expecting a manager or a reduction on the cost as I did eat the 2 eggs, toast and wedge fries(which were crispy and tasty). I did not unfortunately see my server ever again so I simply left $ 20.00 on the table and will certainly never be going back here again. Save your money if your at the hotel and drive a few blocks to Denny’s even on 118 avenue. Or south and hit ABC. Better options 100%. Consistently inconsistent and certainly a lack of customer care. Ignoring the problem will not change the situation. Lost me that’s for sure!
