I personally like save on foods a bit better than Safeway usually, but this location has some of the best and friendliest service I have ever encountered. The staff were even making sure the other staff members were happy and doing alright haha. Also everything is laid out so that you can see it easily. All in all I’m pleasantly surprised by this location.

Very impressed with this new Windermere Safeway. Unlike some of the older Safeway’s in town this one is very well laid out and lots of signage to let you know what is in each isle. The produce section is large, very large compared to the rest of the store, and very fresh. The meat section is nice (no Save-On though) and a pretty good deli section.
With a ton of parking and the fact that there is so many other businesses in the direct vicinity; from hardware to restaurants, movie theaters, boutiques and salons… I can concievably see myself going to Windermere over a closer grocery store just because of all the area has to offer.

My neighborhood Safeway in Windermere!
Even though it wasn’t love at first sight, we’ve definitely become a Safeway family because of this location.
Because it’s new-ish (opened December 2011), you almost never wait too long at check out and are able to find what you are there for.
Quiet and relaxing (compared to other Safeways in town) and friendly staff — just makes the regular grocery shopping routine a lot more enjoyable!

LOVE this Safeway!
Not only is it usually pretty quiet, they’ve got a Starbucks and are routinely running a bonus Airmiles coupon.
While more expensive than other places one could shop, the quality seems higher on most things.
