Second Cup Coffee Company

This Second Cup is a busy place on the weekends. When I come to meet friends, there’s often a line up of at least 2 – 3 people in front of me but it’s good they provide ample seating and that isn’t an issue. There are seats near the front door if you don’t mind the traffic and it’s not as private but often I like to sit near the back which is a little quieter for conversations. They also have a large patio area and on a warm day, often people are outside enjoying their beverages.
They offer lots of food and drink items. In addition to the sweet treats, they also sell granola and yogurt and I believe sandwiches, although, I have never bought one. The service is always decent for the line ups they can have.
Great place to meet friends or business colleague for a coffee and a drink!

Went to this locations drive thru; requested a large iced hot chocolate, confirmed a large iced hot chocolate, paid for a large iced hot chocolate and was provided a small iced hot chocolate. Before I could even make a comment, the server shut the window and wandered off…
I parked, went in to the location and had no troubles with them remaking me my drink in the correct size. I didn’t appreciate although the fact that they openly talked about me to each other and theirs friends who were standing near the counter area. I was appreciative that they apologized and solved the problem but did not like their rude attitude.
Uncertain as to whether I would go back, after all they could have other staff at the time and whatnot; I do enjoy Second Cup drinks as well.

My home base — Second Cup. I hang out here so much some of my friends call this location my Second Home. This location was renovated in early 2008 and has a very modern, bright look to it. Plenty of comfy seats, friendly staff, and free WiFi (just try to sit closer to the back of the store). There is a small fireplace giving warmth in the winter, and a lovely patio for the nicer weather. I just saw a few artificial cactuses appear on the patio — sort of cheesy, but in a cute way. What I really appreciate about Second Cup is the ability to have a rapport with the staff and regular customers. It gives me a warm feeling to be greeted by people, some of whom I only know by sight. As for the coffee, it’s average as far as chain store made coffee goes, but I enjoy it nonetheless. I come here for the atmosphere, to work outside of home, and to relax.
