Staples

This is the best place in Edmonton to get printer ink. They have everything you need, the staff is very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful, and the prices are great. I love shopping here for printer ink. Highly recommended!

Stopped in here for some to make some copies. I was not having much luck with the machines. So I asked for some help. The employee was friendly and quick to help. I was surprised how nice she was considering how cranky the customers in the store were!

Oh Staples in Oliver, you have had my back more than once. Where else can you go when you are downtown, en route to an event or party and realize you forgot scissors at home, that you are out of double sided tape, that you forgot to print out something, or that your mass assortment of sharpies we left on the front step? Staples! Cheap, always stocked up, friendly staff in the printing section, and I love that they take Air Miles! Thanks Staples!

This location is smaller than the Office Depot location that used to be here before it became Staples. That said, it has one of the best ink cartridge selections of any store in the city (well Staples does anyway). The furniture section is pretty tiny but the store in general has pretty good selections of items in stock.
While the store wasn’t busy during my visit, it did take a while to get some service. I was surprised that you can earn Air Miles here though which is kind of nice, and the copy centre seemed busy which is nice.
It is great to have a Staples location in the Oliver neighborhood and I really do appreciate having this here.

Selection… It’s not bad, can be basic depending on what you are shopping for. If you saw it on the website, check and make sure it’s in store before you go, either online (there is a check store stock button) or call. Don’t expect it will be there — you might have to order online and ship it. Annoying sometimes. Hard to find good stationers these days.
This location has a Copy centre, self-​serve, computers, office furniture, lots of phone & tablet accessories.
Before Christmas ’14, there was Error in flyer, I asked if they had printed a retraction, could they do something for me, and the store manager made it right without any fuss.
Watch flyers, they often have good sales. I use an app called Flipp on my iPhone and iPad to track what I’m shopping for so I can get everything in one trip, and then I don’t have to go back for the things I forgot. Plus, I can *show* the store clerks what it is I can’t find without having to haul around a paper flyer or little bits cut out.

This is the closest location to me, in Oliver Square area.
This is my go-​to for any of the non-​profits printing work that I do. I love the fact that you can put it in your Dropbox account and access the file through the printer right at Staples.
Load some cash on your Staples card and swipe it to access any of the printers services.
The only negative I really have about this place is that the Print Shop only has the one rentable computer to do self-​serve scanning with. Don’t forget to bring your USB drive like I do, you need something to store your scanned file on!
Staples also has a great selection of anything that you could possibly think of needing in an office environment. They even carry snacks and cleaning supplies!

I recently bought a new wireless router from Staples. Let me tell you, there is nobody that knows less than I do about that kind of stuff, so the selection that most people find impressive, I find daunting.
Luckily there was a gigantic man with an even larger base of knowledge with which to help me out with working that day. He asked me a lot of questions to help him determine the exact correct router to fit my needs. He didn’t just steer me to the most expensive one, and but told me what the differences were between the models and gave me some options that would work in my situation.
I had purchased, and returned 2 different routers recently from another store that were not performing as expected, so I’m happy to finally have the right one and it’s working perfectly.
