Nothing bad to say about these guys. Dr. Mackenzie was great. Service was quick and organized. The glasses shop was very helpful. The girl in there was very helpful suggesting glasses. Prices are good. Over all left pretty happy.

Saw Dr. Jeff Holtz for a routine eye exam. He was really friendly and efficient. I only had a slight change in my prescription and Dr. Holtz explained the pros and cons of changing out the lenses in my glasses. I liked that he wasn’t salesy or pushy — just gave me the info I needed. The clinic is really cool and modern — different(in a good way) than most other optometry clinics. I’ll also mention that the front desk staff was super friendly. Overall a way better experience then I’ve had at any other optometry clinic.

9My experience there was a good one. I saw Dr. Ross McKenzie, he was great, friendly and i would recommend him to others. 5 Stars for him. Now the 1 star(and i would give 0 if i could) is for Dr. Puneet Randhawa. My sister went to see her as her vision in one eye had gone blurry/cloudy and she was worried about it being cataracts(this runs in my family) She was told she had astigmatism. What a relief my sister felt after hearing that. So she was fitted for contacts, but they didn’t have her prescription for the astigmatism contacts so she gave her the WRONG prescription saying it looked the same when she viewed her eyes again with them on. My sister told her that her vision was still blurry and all she told her was to come back in a couple days if its the same! So she books an appointment with the optometrist in the Costco in St.Albert. Well guess what, along with her astigmatism. she has F***ING cataracts! How in the hell did she miss the cataracts, which by the way, is in both eyes. As well as give the wrong prescription because they didn’t have the right one, and completely ignore being told that her patient still had concerns with her eyesight! Unbelievable! Would never recommend her to anyone and will in fact steer people away!

Wanted new glasses but couldn’t get into my regular eye doctor at Costco. Initially I’d just gone to Costco because it was convenient while we were shopping a few years ago, but I really liked Dr. Quan, and I also liked the(very affordable) frames I found. We had stopped at the mall, so I decided to try this place. Doctor is friendly enough, and professional enough, but his instruments need RECALIBRATING! I was told there had been quite a degradation in my left eye, so that explained my recent eye strain(turns out I was just working too hard for several months). I ordered one pair of glasses from the Pearle next door, but started having freakishly bad headaches, dizziness, and felt nauseated with them on. The only thing I could think was that it was the glasses. I went back to Stonewire to have them re-examine in case something had gone wrong, and then ordered new glasses from Pearle. Same problem. I was so disgusted I just told Pearle to keep the glasses. Took that second prescription to Costco to my regular doctor and had HER recheck. There had been very little change at all. She was very concerned about the huge difference in the prescription I’d been given. I’ll never stray from Costco again!
