Pies! This is a review of the canteen — the food and baking there is all homemade, very well priced and a step above the usual rink fare. All the favs: good burgers, huge baskets of fries, very good steak specials at about $ 10, and incredible pies. Easily the best apple pie I have ever eaten that was not made by my Mom.
It is within blocks of Rexall Place where the burgers cost 5 times more and aren’t nearly as good. Shows that food in sports facilities doesn’t need to be crazy expensive.
