This Tim Horton’s is on my way to work so most mornings I drop in for a coffee(or else how would I get through the day?) During morning rush hour(7am to 8:30am) the drive-thru & inside line are fairly long, however the employees are quite quick to get you through the line which is nice, but on that note, on occasion they can get your order wrong or miss something because they’re trying to be speedy. During normal hours, they’re still quick but there is a higher chance that your order will be correct with nothing missing. Nevertheless, I’d be back for that coffee goodness!

This Tim Hortons is pretty quick and convenient if you’re in the area. They got my friend’s order right — which is pretty darn important considering his allergies/preferences. That said, I ordered a Bagel BELT via the drive through and specified that it should have bacon in it(not sausage — bacon is afterall what the B in BELT stands for) when asked. But my Bagel BELT arrived with sausage on it which is pretty disappointing. The wait in the drive-thru line was fine though and my food and beverage was otherwise as expected.

A place to get donuts, coffee, and/or other fast food items. The coffee and donuts are pretty good. The free Wi-Fi is FAST!!! Standard run-of-the-mill Timmies

I wanted a quick breakfast before work and seeing the line in drive thru was not busy at this time(6:30am) I was happy that this will certainly be fast. I got to the menu board and there’s no breakfast menu up so I had to ask what they had for breakfast sandwiches. The lady sounded annoyed with me that I didn’t know what I wanted off the bat(I don’t usually buy breakfast at Tim Hortons). She quickly rambled about what they had so I pretty much just asked for an egg white English muffin sandwich. I got to the window and she just tore the bill off my hand and threw me my change(which my change fell allover the place) and sandwich. That’s so rude! The sandwich was fine thats why I gave a 2 star but I will never return to that Tim Hortons again.

Sort of bummed… in the middle of the morning rush… waited in line… and they were mostly out of donuts. What’s up with that? Eh?

They earned a third star only recently. This place has a reputation they will never shake. I’ve seen employees use work as their own personal daycare. I’ve had numerous wrong orders. And often staff have treated me like placing my order was rudely disturbing their socializing. I’m furious but its the only fuckin coffee shop nearby work. I’m 3 bad trips away from buying a fucking tassimo.

By far the best Timmies in town, they are located on a busy road so I can understand a line up at times but people are shuffled out just as fast as in. The service is impecable and my order is never wrong an always fresh. I have been coming for two years on average every second day. I order a steep tea and well they actually give me steep tea unlike other timmes they give me coffee… coffee yuck… really irks me when your expecting tea and take a gulp of coffee. The staff always grret me as Boss. no complaints… seriously they know what they are doing here. 5 timbits out of 5 timbits.

I’m not sure what one can really expect from a Timmy’s. Truthfully, I only use the drive through at this location and I get exactly what I expect: a double/double, a doughnut or a bagel. Then I drive to the nearby soccer centre and feel better about not having to eat the over-fried food and muddy water they call coffee at the concession there. The appeal of Timmy’s is that you get a consistent cup of coffee and a doughnut from a selection you already know. It’s all about the comfort of familiarity. At no time am I ever fooled that I’m at a café in Tuscany or by the Opera in Paris. That said, it not a bad cup of coffee that’s pretty much the way I expect it to be: hot, creamy and sweet, and no one needed to ask me for $ 6.00 for it.

This is potentially the worst Tim Hortons location in all of Edmonton. Having worked nearby for over four years, I can tell you that this location is on a constant downcurve when it comes to service and quality. The staff never ask you if you’d like a tray, even when you order multiple drinks. The coffee is par and I’ve never understood everyone’s fascination with this«Canadian Institution». Ordering a chili and bun has normally been delicious and a great way to warm up on a colder day. But not today. The chili tasted like it had been sitting for days, the meat was clumped together and the mushrooms were rubbery. The bun was hard and stale, and the butter, which they consistently put on top of the chili melted everywhere and just turned into a great big mess, which I’m pretty sure has also ruined one of my favourite shirts. Needless to say, I will most likely avoid this location as best I can, sticking only to the occasional office coffee run.
