Went here with a friend for lunch and we both had the Italian Burger. The burger itself looked amazing but was very salty. The biggest reason for this low review is the service. It was terrible and as a former waitress I am embarrassed for this place. Our waitress greeted us in a timely manner, but it took almost 15 minutes to get her to come back with our drinks and take the order(and the café was not busy). Took almost 25 minutes to get our meal and upon meal delivery we each asked for a water, which took another 15 minutes. I even asked another waitress after around 8 minutes, and still — no water… They were both just hanging out behind the counter and couldn’t be bothered to serve their customers apparently. Even though overall the meal was good, I will never go back.

Been two times at lunch. First time we shared their smoked salmon and pear pizza and it was the BOMB. Second time we tried it, it was not of the same quality as the first and the type of salmon was changed. Apparently it’s due to whatever is fresh from their supplier. We had their kale Caesar salad too and the dressing was way too heavy and I suspect it wasn’t even kale lol. Would go again once more to try the quality of their pizza again. Crossing my fingers.

Have been here twice for brunch and it’s been delicious! The service is great and the staff have been cheerful and happy to see us. Wish I knew before that I could order even the lunch/dinner items for breakfast but I know now!

Went here for the first time, and I was so impressed by the food. I am definitely coming back and going to try the brunch menu, and come back for a few of the dinner options I didn’t get to try. Had the pizza sticks with pesto dipping sauce to start. Really tasty. I had the grilled chicken and pesto rigatoni. Had to substitute spaghetti, because apparently they ran out of rigatoni, but i think it was excellent nonetheless. My friend had the Gorgonzola pizza, which I was skeptical of, but I tried a piece, and I might order that myself next time. Fantastic.

I recently went to tirimasu and realized that they have changed their set up from the last time I was there. It used to be café style dining and now it is a restaurant. The food is still amazing! They have lots of gluten free options: pasta, pizza, bread, which I was happy to see. We had the kale Caesar salad to start. It was very fresh and the kale didn’t taste too strongly so it made a great healthy salad base. We had a gluten free chicken pizza for our meal. The gluten free crust was good. I can only imagine how good the regular crust must be. It was very tasty with sun dried tomatoes and chicken. It’s too bad we were too full for deserts because they looked tasty! The also have gelato. The prices are a little bit higher(20 ish per person) but the food quality seems to be on par with the price. I will be back to try more of their gluten free options!

Waiting for my food over half an hour. Not impressed. was on a half hour lunch break and they said the kitchen was«backed up». Don’t know what that means and its not like it was packed busy, there were still tables available. I’ve been here several times, because I work close by so it’s convenient sort of, the service is usually ok but sometimes they are slow. And I have had pasta there for supper once and it was a small bowl of undercooked runny noodles with a piece of bread on the side, I’d say it was definitely overpriced and very bland. Only thing I liked on the menu was the pizza sticks. But don’t think I’ll be going here again since they make me wait forever for my food. Over rated.

I have been here a few times since the place opened awhile back. The service is always prompt and friendly. We had a couple of americanos which were great and ordered the vegetable barley soup and the margarita pizza. Both were flavourful. The soup had tons of vegetables with a tasty vegetable broth and the barley was perfectly al dente. I didn’t know what I was expecting with the pizza, but I was pleasantly surprised. The tomato sauce had tons of flavour. Lots of herbs such as basil and the perfect amount of cheese. The crust was not at all soggy but baked to perfection. Glad I came back to revisit this neighborhood bistro.

Tried a variety of the pastries for the Love Letters event this last Sunday. Everything was delicious. I am a black coffee fan so that’s what I ordered but my friends also tried the Mimosa and Latte. They all loved theirs too. I saw the various breakfasts going out and I really want to come back and try it!

Boyfriend and I used to eat here all the time. The breakfast wrap is amazing. Very filling and not too expensive. When we would go for dinner we were pleasantly surprised that the portions were good for the price and the food was hearty and tasty. Something I didn’t expect from a place that is called«Café Tiramisu.» The interior is clean and modern. Very good atmosphere and fun loving young staff members. Definitely one of the best that 124th has to offer.

I’ve been here multiple times, usually for lunch and always have a really good experience. The café is setup to dine for a quick lunch or stay for a casual get together. I usually get their salads, most of which the half size is enough to fill someone for lunch. Yesterday I had the quinoa salad which had a great assortment of peas, tomatoes, bocconcini cheese with a light balsamic vinaigrette and Rosemary crostini. We finished off our lunch with dessert-They have a great selection of cheesecakes and desserts including Oreo scones and soft cinnamon buns! Unfortunately this visit I found the waiters to be a bit rushed and hasty but usually it’s a very pleasant experience. I have heard there is sometimes live music in the evenings and would love to try out the dinner menu.

We decided to stop by here for some dessert. We were asked by staff to seat ourselves and wait for our server when we were found at the counter looking at the dessert offering. Hence, we seated ourselves at a nearby table. This place offered the full service dining experience even for dessert. I stopped by this place on a previous year when it was still called Café Tiramisu. It seems like they have upgraded to restaurant status. Once we placed our order, it took quite some time for the desserts to be dropped off. Then we had to wait again for our server to get the water we requested. My German chocolate coconut cake was very rich. I managed to finish half of it. It tasted good. I found the coconut icing layer to be very sweet. Someone in the group ordered a strawberry cake, but it came poorly presented. She said her cake tasted okay. My brother enjoyed his chocolate cup filled with chocolate mousse and fruit smoothie. I stopped by the restroom and there was no toilet paper or paper towels. One of the toilet was filled with toilet paper. I ended up just turning around back to my table as I did not need to use the restroom badly enough. Overall, it was an okay experience. Service could be a bit faster as dessert only required plating. Staff should check up and clean their restroom more frequently.

I popped in to Café Tiramisu on a Saturday afternoon for a drink and a snack. I split the Avocado Crab dip with my date, and we tried the Rosemary Peppercorn Gin Fizz and the Cucumber Basil Mojito. It was all really good! The service was friendly and quick. I will be back to try more later, cause this joint is right in my neighbourhood! I can’t wait to see what else they have to offer!

Food: Coffee and Calbresses are splendid. The Salmon is salty but in a good, tasteful way. The crepes are slightly messy, but the meat inside are juicy little slabs while chunks of fresh fruit smile up at you on every plate. Tiramisu sure loves their fruit! Service: Our server was lovely but if you anyone other than your server for help then you’re better off not saying a word. The competition for tables and tips seem to get into their head and it doesn’t seem like a helpful, supportive community. Atmosphere: Laxed, bustling little bistro. Overall: A nice little bistro with nice little treats!

This place is excellent! It has an inviting atmosphere and great, friendly service. For a local bistro its a decent sized restaurant, and even has a separate room for parties. Their food is great from salads, pastas and pizzas. Their«Lift Me Up» chicken is absolutely delicious! And they have a nice variety of desserts. There’s not so easy to find parking beside the café.

As I am now a parent, and we like to bring our daughter out, different features in restaurants appeal to us. For instance, Tiramisu Bistro features an actual changing table in the women’s room, not just one of those fold-down things(which are nice to have as well). This, plus the generally pleasant décor and cleanliness of the washrooms, makes it friendly for both new parents and babies alike. And while I can’t vouch for anything aside from breakfast, I should say that my food was tasty. I had the cinnamon roll french toast, which was a cinnamon bun, sliced in half and dipped in an eggy batter. My wife commented that her dish was somewhat cold when she was served it, which drops this place down a star. Daravara and Urban Diner are more consistent options in the area.

This is a very good restaurant for brunch or lunch. This is a very nice little shop that gives off a nice bistro feel to it. The waiting staff was very good and friendly and the place was quite busy for a Sunday lunch which is usually a very good sign. I had a chai latte which was really very good. They made it with 2% milk which is very hard to do well and not taste bland. A very good healthy alternative. Then I got my pollo Panini with a side salad. The salad was amazing with a red wine vinaigrette that just popped in your mouth. The open faced panini was good however the bottom of the bread was slightly burnt which spoiled what would have been a very good meal. All in all this is a very good place to eat with a lot of healthy options.

Let’s say right off the bat that I really wanted to like this little Café. It’s in a bad part of town(google Edmonton Crime maps) and it tries to be cheery and uplifting. It does it’s best in not being full of sketchy people and not having too many pan handlers around. The painting is cheery and the space is large and inviting. The best thing about this café is the way it looks. The décor is 5 star. Unfortunately the space itself is a like a bad date. It ain’t pretty it just looks that way. I was there for a work event and I was wondering why there were so many flies and mosquitos around. I thought it was just because they had all their doors open(why wouldn’t you just close the doors? I’m pretty sure the diners shooing flies off their plates weren’t happy). Then I looked in the men’s washroom.(see photo) and saw overflowing waste bins, and unsanitary night club levels of dirt. Two tips in seeing how sanitary a restaurant: look in either the bathroom or the kitchen. The bathroom is all I needed to see to make me think. «I’ll pass on food here» I ordered a beer, and it was great! I love beer. The only problem is that by second beer, they were out of the draft. I don’t know if I can fault a place for being out of draft. I can however fault them for being out of draft of my second choice too. Really? Are you kidding? I’m ordering Alleykat… It’s made in Edmonton. How are you out? What would a restaurant that wanted repeat customers do? What would you do if you owned a restaurant and it had a large group in there ordering beer? Would you just say«Too bad we’re out?» I can’t say I was impressed by this. My tally for 4 draft beers was over $ 30(with tax/tip) I gave it a 2 star review because 1.5 was not available, and I would like to say it wasn’t the worst restaurant/bar I’ve been to. Pros 1. Cheery 2. Kids area Cons 1. Dirty 2. Bad area 3. Overpriced

So I just had the weirdest pizza of my life. Take smoked salmon, raw arugula, raw onions and salty capers and put them on top of feta soaked pizza dough and you have a fail. There’s so much salt here I though I was a fish. It was like a smoked salmon salad died on my piece of feta dough. The cream of zucchini soup was ok. Nothing to write home about, but not terrible. Service was ok, but very slow. It’s weird you have to get up and pay at the till even though they serve you like a restaurant. The prices here feel high. 15.5 for the salmon nightmare is very high. The soup was $ 4, which is reasonable. I didn’t really like my experience here this time. There are tons of better options nearby of you want to pay those prices.
