Of the LCBO’s in areas not within 3 blocks of a million people or a thousand millionaires, this is a nice location. They have a decent, but not amazing selection(Spanish wine choices are sorely limited). The place is cleaner than most, and the staff are actually helpful. The cashiers were all smiles and glad to answer my questions. Parking is convenient.

The LCBO is like a normal liquor store but with a smaller selection and higher prices. Hooray for state run monopolies!

This relatively new LCBO(it’s not even listed on the LCBO website) in the Sobeys plaza off the Queensway is a serviceable, if uninspiring place to load up on liquor. It’s rather big, but doesn’t have any extra nice displays or bonus sections, like other medium-to-large-sized liquor stores. It has a bit of a warehouse feel, in other words. It’s not really worth going out of your way for, but it’s convenient and satisfactory if you’ve got other things to do at Sobeys, Shoppers Drug Mart, or one of the other stores nearby.
