Great place with great coffee. They have an array of foods and pastries to choose from. I wish we had these down in Southern California. They’re pretty much open all day. Weather you need a morning coffee or a late night snack, this place is great. Staff is prompt and courteous. Definitely worth trying if you’re in the area or staying at the Radisson. I always try to stop by a Tim Hortons every time I’m in Canada.

Picking someone up at the airport? This is the greatest place to wait. Here’s why: 1. Cold Stone Creamery? Check. If you are not in mood for timbits or a coffee, pick up a scoop of ice-cream with brownies like I did. 2. People watching? Check. Tons of shady and non-shady deals going around… I eavesdropped on two bummy looking people talking about a hotel business, and a man getting offered a $ 30/hour job. The area is very industrial so it brings in an array of colorful people and observing is always fun. 3. Ample seating? Check. It’s a busy one, but I’ve never had trouble finding myself a place to sit. 4. Close to the airport? Check. It’s less than a ten minute drive away. You really don’t have an excuse to NOT go grab a coffee.

It’s sad to say but I feel like I grew into an adult here(no not that way). While this location was never the«local» coffee shop in my area, it was the one I frequented the most in my high school to university years. It’s where I first upgraded from a hot chocolate to a coffee, black(shaken not stirred). It’s where I had my first«business» meeting which lead to the start of a local youth group that is still present in the community. It’s where I studied many times trying to run away from the noise and distraction of other people studying. With no real outlets and no Internet, the distractions were minimal. But on the flip side, the people were and are always interesting. Whether it’s during the comicon event every summer(when hoards of final fantasy or sailor moon or some new animé lookalikes gather around this tim’s) or on a regular day, people from all over the world can be met here, from a Swedish hockey team to an banker interested in buying socks… it’s proximity to the airport and the metro convention centre make it a true tossed salad of culture and people all coming together for that good olé Canadian staple, a timmies. And it makes one of the most consistently good hot chocolates ever…
