My mother has participated in tournaments at Sawmill in addition to bringing clients and friends to the course many times per season. Let’s just say that Sawmill has just lost a very loyal golfer and customer. My mother had a gift certificate given to her for her birthday nearing the end of the golf season and she wanted to extend the expiry date until early next season. Between the cold temperatures and work, she could not manage getting out on the course one last time this season. Sawmill refused to fulfill this request. Golf courses in this region operate a great amount off of customer loyalty as there are quite a few in the area. That being said, it blows my mind how they could turn down such a simple request from a loyal customer. That’s just simply poor customer service and a mistake that will cost them in the future.
