I have been twice now for Indian food. Haven’t tried any of the North American fare, but I will speak highly of the Indian food. Portions are moderate, but made with care and competence. Décor is meh, but that’s not why we go. Service is friendly and attentive, and prices are quite reasonable.

Knights Inn and The Restaurant make up this roadside stop in a single building that is easily seen from Highway 10. The Restaurant has a complete menu with the typical Canadian diner fare alongside a page of Indian dishes for an alternative. The restaurant has a polished look and has a great view out onto the busy cottage country route going north from Brampton. I had the butter chicken which was good, but could have used more chicken to satisfy me. It came with naan and rice, along with some tasty chutney. Maybe I’m used to Indian buffets, but who can stop at two pieces of naan? As I checked into this spot with my Unilocal app, a 15% discount offer appeared but after talking to the guy working there, I was convinced that he had never seen it before and thought it may be meant for the motel and not the restaurant.
