LOVE THIS CAFE!
Great food, great coffee, wine selection is great. Cosy, inviting atmosphere! A little euro style café! Bathrooms are extremely clean, staff is polite and upbeat! I own a business down the street and its great to have a place like this in walking distance!

Café on Main up was nice but they up and left Main Street and are now in Fonthill on South Pelham.
The GOOD NEWS is that the new restaurant, Ambrosia Café, is terrific and more than makes up for Café on Main’s departure. They have an espresso bar, wi-​fi and really great, fresh ingredients.

Great little café in downtown Welland serving light lunches, pastries, and coffee. Baked goods come from Indulgences Bakery in Fonthill (scones are fantastic!) and coffee from Select coffee roasters in Fonthill. Nice to see local businesses supporting each other. The day we were there I wouldn’t call the server overly friendly but very matter of fact. Prices are a bit on the high side but overall a good café in Welland worth checking out.

I love this café! Everything I’ve had here is delicious, and the servers are always very friendly. I especially love Patti, the owner.
I’ve tried salads here, sandwiches, muffins, biscotti, cookies and even cheesecake.
ALL DELICIOUS.
I suggest you try the Iced Cappucino. Normally they use a small cup, but if you ask them to make it larger, they will, and just charge you for a Café Latte at about $ 3.50. I always get the large because it’s so tasty I wind up sucking it back in less than 5 minutes. The large is about 500ml and sometimes I still want more!
What do they put in there?! *melts into a puddle of goo on the floor*
Now the prices are a bit more expensive than I like, but since everything is fresh and truthfully really tasty, it’s worth it.
I should also mention the décor here is very nice, a sort of Euro-​rustic old-​world vibe which I really like. Occasionally they have live entertainment here, but I haven’t been there when that’s going on. Plenty of comfortable seating — this is a great place for a date!
