Montague Bay was a beautiful spot for kayaking. My partner and I took out two single boats for three hours and felt like we had just the right amount of time to explore. We did have a bit of trouble with our reservation: we were supposed to go out at 1:30, but a party that was set to arrive at 1:00 came late, and we didn’t end up getting on the water until 2:30, which meant we had to take a later ferry back to Victoria (they only run a few times a day). In short, if you’re on a specific schedule, I’d recommend leaving extra time. In the end though, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and we thoroughly enjoyed our paddle.
