We just had an exceptional lunch during our first visit to this exceptional little restaurant. The ambiance is a bit chic bohemian… Don’t expect fancy, but it’s a cool place! I had a Caesar themed lunch, with the best Bloody Caesar I’ve ever had(followed by another) with the Et Tu Brute salad which was absolutely wonderful. Everybody in our party loved their lunches. Service was excellent and attentive. This is just a fun little spot!

Service is a bit slow in dining area but this place screams perfection. Great vegan and GF options. Everything I’ve eaten here has been delectable, especially the Korean brunch plate. Also… I drive 20 minutes for their cappuccinos. Recommendations: waffles, Korean brunch, quesadillas, tacos, tacos, tacos… Oh hell, everything is amazing.

Got their classic burger and it was spectacular. Super hip cute restaurant with a great coffee shop in it. Their coffee is also great. I’ll be coming back.

It was a perfect morning in Gananoque. I was torn between coming here for dinner or brunch the next day. Menu looked so good! I was able to make a reservation for brunch. Although, I called the day before the reservation wasn’t registered when I got there. It was okay though, because there was space on the patio or inside on Sunday around 1030am. I loved the décor of the place, with a 50s diner feel plus a trendy rustic look. It was my kind of place. We sat on the patio, which had enough room for a stroller. We ordered the Eggs Benedict and the Poached Eggs on Beets and Potatoes in a Skillet. Both were really good. I was sad that no one told us about the specials because it sounded amazing(waffles infused with cheddar and bacon, topped with a poached egg and hollandaise). I would have totally gotten it. I would definitely come back if ever in the area again.

Love it here. Everything we’ve ever had here has been beyond fabulous. Not huge portions, but still so worth it.

Stopped in for lunch on our way to Ottawa — service very casual, but a good menu with just enough variety without being overwhelming. The quesadilla with beef was tasty and the right size for lunch. The kids pasta was very bland, but then that’s probably why they have a kids menu. Stopped in at the café for dessert and coffee to go — it was all good and the coffee was excellent. Try the pink lemonade — very good in strawberry. There is parking along the side of the building too, so no need to battle with parallel parking along the busy Main Street.

Visiting Ganonoque 1st time. Sat at the outdoor patio. Though food service was slow, the food was great. Servers were great and friendly. Chicken and waffles– tender cold chicken covered in maple syrup with slightly crunchy belgian waffles. Rancher quesadilla-slightly crunchy quesadilla with beans, sweet potatoes, beef brisket, salsa, sour cream.

They serve probably the best brunches in the city of Gananoque:) the menue is great, they have perfect espresso based coffee and service is amazing. You should totally come over and check this place!

We had the special of the day which consisted of waffles with poached eggs in a hollandaise sauce. They were very good and comfortably priced. The service and atmosphere are welcoming and charming.

Excellent addition to Gananoque. Even during a late winter, early spring I really enjoyed the atmosphere(great in the summer), socialist pig has a great location, excellent coffees, cinnamon latte is very good. The two salads we had were $ 30, too pricey, would definitely return for coffee, not likely the restaurant part. Very friendly staff.

Funky coffeehouse in a historic building. Love the décor. Great place to stop for lunch on the way from Toronto to Montréal. Had the sweet potato/kale tacos … very fresh and flavourful — loved the addition of pepitas for crunch and house made salsa had the right amount of heat. Glad to see almond milk available in addition to soy for coffee drinks.
