Imilio’s Pizzeria

Great pizza. Family run. Hard working. Deals for Sens games. All your typical toppings. They do deliver near by but I prefer to drive over. No delays, no tipping. (I’m cheap and retired.) Can’t evaluate their subs. See a previous review for that. But I certainly wouldn’t order a pizza from a sub shop. Or vice versa. Just me.

I ordered a 12″ sub and a gingerale from Imilio’s Pizzeria at 6:30pm. The order was suppose to arrive at 7:20, which I thought was still pretty long for a sub. I took into account the fact that they might be busy. (mind you this is a tuesday night.) 7:45 rolls around and I call the restaurant to ask if my order is even coming, They said they were busy but yes it was coming. It takes not 5 minutes to make a ham sub with some lettuce and mustard. Not to mention the place is 3 km from my house. The delivery guy didn’t come until 8:00 and he had forgotten my gingerale. He had to drive back to get it.
I could have walked to the nearest subway, eaten my sub, and walked back, for less money.
The sub was okay, not the best I’ve had. And the service was clearly not up to my standards. I will not order delivery from Imilio’s again. There is a chance I may go for pizza another time, since I have heard it is good.
Overall bad experience. Hire more staff if you are too busy to provide reasonable service.
