Went to the opening of Chicago at the Huron County Playhouse. Not a single complaint. The theatre has had extensive renovations over the past few years and it shows. Excellent seating and line of sight with ample leg room makes for an enjoyable setting. You can enjoy a glass of wine or a beer before the show or between acts. Upgraded ample washroom facilities are nice too.
Chicago itself is a racy play done well with an excellent set and great dancing. Costumes are skimpy as expected but interesting and varied. The actors were all cast beautifully. Very impressed with the live band and the performance overall.
Looking forward to Footloose in August.
